The finale of India Bridal Fashion week started ( as expected) 2 hours late at 11:30 at night. In a hall of about a thousand pillars, with hanging moroccan lamps, JJ Vallaya unleashed his take on Bridal Couture 2014 which was a melange of moroccan magic meets Indian silhouettes.

Wed Me Good Loves

A few interesting pieces- printed lame` fabric which we don't think we have ever seen before in any show and a lot of really different techniques used more than anything- new ways of printing, distressing fabric and overall seemed like a lot of effort has been put into the collection. The bridal lehengas were too heavy for our taste honestly , but our favourite piece was the ombre powder blue and peach lehenga with kundan work and the other thing worth noting was the combination of colors (teal blue and wine, peach and powder blue, gold and grey) which were quite unusual .

Love the colors on this lehenga. So pretty! You could wear this to your engagement, or if you are a morning bride this would make a great lehenga as well

Loved this piece as well. A bright red lehenga bottom with simple paisleys and a really modern, edgy cream top paired with it. Very pretty!

Dont miss the necklace that wraps around the entire head. Something about those straight lines near the waist are beckoning me!

Other pieces from the show worth mentioning

Printed Lame fabric and techniques

The skirt underneath this looks so interesting, if there was just a plain choli paired with it, it would make a statement lehenga
