An intimate wedding with the closest ones on the guest-list, a food station boasting of lip-smacking delicacies and just the right amount of bling to top it all- does it sound like an ideal wedding plan to you too? Because it surely did to us when we first read through Ayesha & Sarfras’s wedding anecdotes!

Hosted at the picturesque property of The Residence, this lovely duo’s pandemic wedding was quite possibly the sweetest celebration we witnessed lately! While the decorations were throughout kept minimal & classic, it was Ayesha’s stellar bridal choices that kept us hooked to our screens for hours on end. Whether it was her printed pistachio lehenga, the layered jewellery or the pristine ivory stunner, every little & big detail was spot on. And it would be safe to say that her mother took it all a notch above by planning the wedding with utmost finesse!

Wait no more & dive in to witness this beautiful union captured through the lens of Jackson James Photography★ 4.6 .

Meet Ayesha & Sarfras

"We met through our families. We come from rather 2 families that seem really different from outside but couldn't be more similar at heart. That makes it a whole new world for both of us to explore while we hold on to what's closest to us" - shares, Ayesha

The Wedding

From The Bride

My mother was convinced that the pandemic is here, so I could get a small wedding like I always hoped to. It was supposed to be so much bigger than it was. Convinced that if you really really want something to happen a certain way, it just does. ?

I've always dreamed of a tiny wedding where I get to sit around with my family and friends and chat and play all night. Eat a lot because we are Malbari Muslims and that's what we do. And that's exactly how it was. It was like a short summer holiday with cousins, uncles, aunts, and friends at home. Perfect! The wedding decor and outfits were also just right. Nothing over the top. Just the right amount of bling.

Vendor Reviews

Venue: The Residence, Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty

This area is a hidden gem at the hotel. The interiors they've done is so beautiful I barely wanted anything else to be added to the venue. It was probably the only wedding held at the area as it's a party space, but I felt like it was the perfect space for the wedding considering the limited guest list. This space saved me from having a wedding in a huge hall that looked half empty. Everyone knows how amazing their food is.

Bridal Makeup: Makeup By Fidha

Being someone who never uses makeup, I was really worried about looking overly done for the wedding. Fidha made me look like the best version of myself. Her confidence in her work made it so much easier to trust her blindly. Picking her was the best decision I made for the wedding.

Wedding Photography: Jackson James Photography

Pretty sure I made it rather difficult for him by being super awkward in front of the camera. I have no idea how they managed to click such lovely pictures with a bride and groom who couldn't be more awkward in front of the camera. Thanks to Jackson I'll always remember myself as a bride who just couldn't stop laughing or smiling
