Intimate weddings are becoming the norm and Saumya & Satyan just raised the bar with their gorgeous celebrations in Pune! Held at Saumya's Uncle's home, the couple tied the knot in February 2020 & invited the people that truly mattered to them, restricting the guest list to only 17 people! The decor, the invites and even makeup, bride Saumya did it all herself. With the help of her parents, she decorated the house with minimalistic elements, designer the invites on her own and got them printed from a local printer! She wore her Mother's wedding saree and did her own makeup and hair. It turned out to be an extremely warm gathering with happiness and fun showcased in every picture captured by Sarang Atre Photography★ 4.9 ! Scroll down and see, just how beautifully this couple had a #goals intimate wedding!

The Wedding

From The Bride:

Our wedding was a reflection of us as individuals, as a couple and as a family. It was minimalistic and unconventional in its own unique way. Since I like to take charge of situations and do things my way, I planned and executed all aspects of the wedding with the help of my parents.

To start with, I wore my Mother's wedding saree, the exact same that she had worn at her own wedding 33 years ago! We chose my Mother's younger sister & her husband's house to get married at. It was a beautiful place, and felt like were getting married in the Garden of Eden! For the decor, we kept it very minimalistic and ensured that it matched the natural backdrop of the venue. It was conceptualised by me and was brought to live with the immense help of my parents & brother. They were truly my pillars of support throughout the process. Last, but not the lear, I also designed our wedding invitation. My father and I personally went to the "printing gully" in the Pune Peth area to get the invitation cards printed. We went hunting for envelop paper of a very specific colour that I wanted and got the envelopes made by hand. The whole process was satisfying as the result was exactly as I had envisioned.

Vendor Reviews:

We chose Sarang Atre Photography to cover our wedding. Besides deciding on marrying Satyan, I think this was one of the best decisions I have ever made! A picture says a thousand words. Sarang clicked hundreds of absolutely stunning photos of us. The photos speak for themselves.
