When the stunning bride goes to the effort of hand painting over 200 bottles over the course of 3 months for the venue decor, and she DIY's everything from origami paper cranes to a photobooth , you can be rest assured that her wedding is going to be extra special. Shot by the peeps at Going Bananas photography, this colorful day wedding has love shining through every tiny detail- and those bottles , can we have some for our office please?! PS: The bride also wore NO makeup, and gave back to society through her wedding favors (WOW!!) Read more below .

Love the brides classic red lehenga and all those DIY details are just <3

From the bride:  When Amit and I decided to get married, all we wanted was a fun day to celebrate our love and friends and family to share our happiness. It's fair to say that it was just that - a big celebration. I always wanted a day wedding and December was perfect for that.

I was fully involved in the entire wedding planning from A to Z along with my parents, my sister  and my best friends. Amit is Gujarati and I am Punjabi, so we had a mix of garba-dandiya and dhol-bhangra straight after the ceremony.  I made origami cranes to hang at the vedi, as a colorful backdrop to our ceremony. The show stealer, or so I have been told, have been the bottles. We spent 3 months hand painting hundreds of bottles to use as centerpieces at the wedding. The guests were then invited to take them home as memories from our big day.

As wedding favours with the invites, we gave out chocolate boxes made by the amazing kids and staff at Muskaan, a non-profit organisation for the intellectually challenged. Just our way of giving back to the society and supporting the phenomenal work they are doing at Muskaan! A big shout out to our photographers, Abhimanyu and Prasheila at Going Bananas Photography! We instantly hit it off and they immediately got my vision of the simple, bright and colourful picnic. A special thank you to them for not shunning me from a photographer’s perspective (As I had not done any makeup and wasn't the "proper" demure bride! It is such a task to get Amit to smile for photos but they have managed to capture him looking so happy and smiley throughout! I love the photos!
