When we saw Shirali's twirling shots ruling the gram, we knew we had to check out her wedding looks. However, once we got our hands on the album, we were pleasently surprised. Shirali's wedding celebrations were not only elegant and intimate but also full of stunning details and loads of inspiration. She wore a flowy mustard lehenga for her mehendi, with multicoloured jewellery while her bridal lehenga was a lovely shade of green and with floral prints. Even though the wedding took place at Shirali's home, like many Coronial Weddings, the decor was absolutely spellbinding. So, without further ado, scroll down and start pinning for your dream wedding board.
Meet Shirali & Shalin
We knew each other since we were 3 years old. Same school from nursery to 12th! We started talking when we were 12 and started dating at 14! A textbook childhood sweethearts/ highschool love story. With a 5 year long distance between different continents. 14 and a half years of dating and here we are finally married against all the odds!
The Mehendi
The Wedding
From The Bride:
50 people invitee list, a simple home wedding, minimal decor with my fav flowers: Rajnigandhas and lots of brass pots! I wanted it to scream tradition and authenticity.
Vendor Reviews:
Makeup Artist: Ulupi Parikh
I told her years ago that whenever I get married she has to do my makeup. I love her finesse and minimalistic approach.
Photographer: Indian Footprints: Chandni Dua
I met her through work 5 years ago and instantly fell in love with her perspective and tones. Like the mua i told her as well that no matter how and when she’ll capture my wedding.
Bridal Outfits: Raw Mango (Mehendi), Sabyasachi (Wedding)
I wore raw mango for mehendi with a bunch of locally sourced jewellery. I wanted it to be fun and something that represented my style.
Sabyasachi for the wedding because we’ve been buying from him since more than 15 years. I wanted something simple yet very elegant. The colour was chosen on a whim. All my outfits and jewellery were bought in a matter of 30 mins because I knew exactly what i wanted. I wanted it to be fuss free and super simple yet bridal.
Mehendi Artist: Jayshree Ben.
My mehendi was unconventional for brides. I just applied it alta style because again, I needed to feel and look like myself and that was the biggest priority for every speck of my wedding.
Groom Wear: Raghvendra Rathore.
The class, the fit and the fabrics immediately caught my, and my now husbands eye. All his outfits were from there
