Indo-German Winter Wedding In Delhi With A Warm, Romantic Vibe

There's so much about this wedding that caught our eye- firstly, it was a cross-culture wedding done right. Secondly, this venue- in Delhi, but green and beautiful. Third, the decor, which was overloaded with lots of pretty florals and added so much romance to the setting. And lastly, the bride, Kathrin, who looked amazing in each of her Indian avatars thanks to the help from Ritcha Rao Makeup Artist★ 4.9 ! Kathrin and Adhyan's Delhi wedding looks right out of a cosy winter afternoon in Delhi. Take a look.

Meet Kathrin & Adhyan

"On the internet, I posted a food picture, Adhyan commented on it and we started chatting!", says the bride.

From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on February 17, 2024. Our wedding had a lot of flowers and nature, romantic with a lot of colors and a bit boho style.

As far as my outfits were concerned, the haldi outfit was a simple white silk suit to contrast the yellow decor. For mehendi I chose a beautiful lehenga in yellow and teal by designer Nany Kapoor. For the wedding ceremony I wore a breathtaking lehenga in red and gold by Kundans Bridal Couture. For the evening party I hit maximum glam with a red glitter dress by Kalki Fashion.

We used the app to find the perfect wedding planners which took so much work from our shoulders and did an incredible job. Also finding the makeup artist, who could have not done a more beautiful job!

Vendor Reviews

Venue: Mandi Hills, Delhi

A gorgeous location with peacocks and a pool. It had old indian architecture style and so many plants. There were 4 bungalows where we and the family stayed, everything clean and nicely decorated. There was enough space to do 4 functions, each somewhere else.

Makeup Artist: Ritcha Rao

She was an absolute magician with the makeup. I never felt so beautiful and all the wedding guests were in awe of my makeup. I got compliments like "you look like a greek goddess" or "you never looked so beautiful". Also the process felt like a spa treatment, I almost did not want to leave :D What made me the happiest is how gorgeously she made my blue eyes shine, guests were asking, if I wore colored lenses. I looked like a true Maharani.

Wedding Planning: Wedlac

Mansi and Sumit were the kindest, funniest, most creative Wedding Planner we could have wished for. They coordinated everything from a distance (since we live in Germany and the wedding was in Delhi) and fulfilled our every wish, no matter how big or small. The wedding itself was nothing short of a fairytale. Every guest was in awe, and so were we. The decorations, the food, the music, the location, everything was breathtaking. Thank you so much for making this wedding unforgettable and an event to tell about for generations!

The decor was decided together with the Wedlac team and they did an extraordinary job in letting our vision come to life.

Photography: The Blemished Tales

Their pictures are a unique style and they captured every moment perfectly. We looked like Maharaja and Maharani.

Mehendi Artist: Sahil Mehendi Artist

The bridal mehendi took 5 hours and was incredible craftsmanship. So much detail and the request of peacocks in the design was fulfilled to the fullest.
