This simple Delhi engagement deserves all the accolades because all the decor was done by the family and the bride's friends! They picked a beautiful restaurant for their intimate gathering and added a photo tree, tea lights and cute engagement sayings to make this a personalised affair. And would you look at that ring???? This sweet engagement was photographed to showcase it's best offerings by the good guys at Fotowalle - The Story Folks★ 4.9 .

Meet Harsh & Urvashi

"We happened when he was trying to set me up with his best friend! Yes, it is exactly what you are thinking; Harsh and I met at college in Hyderabad. Typical Bombay Girl meeting Typical Delhi boy, working for the same Consulting Firm we were two very different individuals living unfamiliar lives in our cities. Harsh made his efforts to introduce me to his friend, and we got more comfortable and close through the situation as friends. We become each other’s ally. Unknowingly we started talking to each other all the time. Through friendship and more, we fell in love. Being in different cities did not matter at all then. Apparently everyone around us saw this coming besides us. Our first date was the night of our graduation at Hyderabad. I think it’s the best way to have a relationship — to start as friends. But it’s also about sharing similar passions – Harsh and I dream for the same things in life and our way to achieve those dreams keeps us strong and loved," explains Urvashi.

The Engagement

From The Bride:  "The engagement happened in an open-air restaurant in the perfect weather of November in Delhi. The whole theme was to touch base with a  traditional set up along with adding  personalization to the event. We did all of the decor- entirely on our own. Signboards spoke about how the Delhi side of the family and friends were welcoming the Mumbaikars. Merging the surnames of the couples was a unique idea bringing togetherness for the occasion - #UrvHarsh. The cute sign shaped tree-hangings along with tea lights gave out the right messages to the guests. The main ring exchange area had beautiful white floral set-up. To top this all, came in the centre pieces on the tables with memories and glimpses of the couples wonderful love story" adds Urvashi.
