Backyard Bait
It's really nice to create a sweet setting. That's most important when it comes to a dreamy proposal. So first up, know what your girl would love - is she a game of thrones fan? A sex and the city fan? But whatever the theme is, girls love specific things - candles, roses, champagne and of course, great music. And fairy lights need to be part of this setting! It's budget-friendly and sweet and you can enact her favourite proposal scene from a film or sitcom and a garden, backyard thing will always get her vote!
Circle of life
Try taking her to the place you first met and proposing to her there. This won’t cost much, presuming that you didn’t meet on holiday somewhere exotic, and will show her how thoughtful and attentive you are. Make it come full circle by transforming her from girlfriend to fiancée on the very same spot where you transformed yourself from friends to lovers!Home Sweet Home
Online Fun
No, we don’t mean on Facebook. Make her a beautiful video creating a collage of scenes, all leading up to the vital question and post it on YouTube. Then, send her the link telling her you’ve found something funny on YT, and then let the story unfold. Priceless, romantic and it doesn’t cost anything. Remember to keep the video private under your settings bar!Make a painting of your time

We loved how amazing Masoom's proposal was. Her fiance got a caricature artist to approach them who asked the girl if she would like him to sketch them. They sat for a bit on the seaside while being ‘sketched’ and when the artist claimed he was done and asked the girl to come see what he had painted - it was a surprise. Here was a picture of the London Eye (this is where the boy asked Masoom to be his girlfriend 3 and a half years ago) and a boy kneeling with a ring in his hand in front of a girl. Simple and cute!Scavenger Hunt
This requires lot of planning, help and very little money! Think of a few places that are meaningful to your relationship and make these a part of a game. Have few friends and relatives posted at each of the places to give her clues to the next one. Have creative and fun clues describing your feeling or what that place or moment meant for you. At the end of the scavenger hunt, propose with a romantic view in the background like a beach during sunset and have all the friends and family involved in planning the day there to celebrate after!Hike it
What better place to propose than at the end of the trail? It’s symbolic of your journey and chances are, the view at the top will be breath taking.Beach Happy
Write your proposal on the sand, take a friend there to guard your work. Then drive your girl up to a cliff and show her the best proposal ever?Book Lover

This one requires a lot of efforts! If you’ve got a bookworm on your hands, ask her favourite author to sign her favourite book with “Will You Marry, ____ (your name)” on the inside. If contacting the author is difficult – you can do that yourself in a new copy of her favourite book. Take her to dinner or a picnic and give her the book as a gift. You can even carve out the book and put the ring in the middle. Not only is this a creative way to propose, but its extra great because you’ll have the signed book as a physical memory of the proposal forever.
