Have You Ticked Off These Things Before You Start Your Wedding Week? Your Checklist!

Dear Bride, you've saved, budgeted, researched, and planned, and undergone a gazillion different mood swings. But wait just a minute, to ensure that you have the most perfect version of your big day , these quick checklists items will keep you handy.

- Break In Your Shoes so you don't gets shoe bites on the big day. Every single one of them. Divide them into boxes with notes stuck on them - Mehendi / Sangeet / Brunch. And don't forget your flipflops and comfy shoes.
- Pack a separate suitcase for your honeymoon
- Buy a lipstick in a similar shade to the one your makeup artist is planning to use . (You will need this for touchups on the wedding day)
- Test out zippers in each of your outfits.
- Do a full dress rehearsal – from lingerie to your head dupatta! Everything ****
- Pack your first night essentials: Creams / sheets / nightgown in another suitcase.
- Double check your destination wedding bags. Count them.
- Prepare extra cash envelopes – your pandit might suddenly ask you to gift someone in the middle of the wedding.
- Pack your emergency wedding day kit!
- Pen a note to your groom telling him how exciting it is to finally become his wife! It's something you both will always have and remember!
- Confirm all vendors two days prior – even if they have already confirmed!
- Get all your salon appointments done – two days prior.
- Talk to your groom and see if he needs anything specific done (They all don’t communicate!)
- Have one trustworthy person manage all your real jewellery! With lock and key.
- Check in with your planner and see if there's anything else you need to know or want!
- Clear your work to-do list. No work calls in the last week please!
- Make sure you have one outfit and one pair of shoes as backup for an extra event.
- Dear Grooms, send your bride surprise flowers!
- Have someone fly out a day later than you on your destination wedding so in case you miss something important, they can get it!
- Eat healthy and get plenty of rest in the last week!
- Give your photographer a list of photos/poses you want to have photographed.
- Talk to your In-Laws-To-Be and see if they need anything from you at the wedding.
- Designate a special person to receive all your gifts and designate a room to keep them. Have the hotel give you an extra key so you have a backup.
- Your room key needs two backups: give one to your mom and your BFF. Just in case, someone vanishes, there is at least one to open the door.
- Make a full-on music playlist: Get your BFF to do it and keep at least 5 pen drives of it handy.
- Have the hotel / resort give you extra sari drapers. Last minute, everyone needs help!
- Prepare tip envelopes: Put in tips for the hotel staff / helpers / pujari / anyone who serviced you and give it to your mom. Add a thank you note!
- Chargers: For your comp / for your phone / for your Bose Speakers. Carry extra battery life too. At least 3 of them so your mom, BFF and you have one each.
- Make a getting-ready timeline so you have enough time for pictures!
