If you are addicted to all things bridal, you would know that Harper's Bazaar Bride launched its India edition a couple of months ago. While I have been stalking their mags, we have to admit their covers have been something to watch out for every single month. You don't see a silk saree on the cover of a magazine everyday but Harper's managed to do it, and they also managed to showcase Indian brides in an effortlessly, easy style that still pushes the fashion boundaries.
Absolutely LOVED this gorgeous blue silk saree, draped in a modern way paired with a printed jacket by Rahul Mishra. That is Shruti Hassan by the way- love that big nose ring.
Their June issue was about summer weddings and featured a gorgeous, soft peach and gold Suneet Verma creation with mogra on the hands. This was a much more 'regular' sort of magazine cover, but still gorgeous nonetheless- love the makeup here. The strong brow with the peach tones work well together.
The April cover was beyond phenomenal, with Aalia Bhatt wearing Manish Arora. That metallic detailing on that lehenga. Ooofff!
Their launch issue had Sonam Kapoor in a sequinned gold sabyasachi with a peplum frame
They also had a shoot called the Crimson tide in one of their issues which had models wearing red bridal lehengas in different styles. Loved this feature !
