In winters, your hair tends to go static - especially in cooler places (Jaipur, Delhi etc). To combat this, a great tip is to use serum on both wet and dry hair. Use 2 - 3 pumps of serum on wet hair as a prep product and blow dry your hair. Finish by using a 1 - 2 to settle the fly aways if any. Serum is not only known to control frizz and add shine, but it’s great to use serum on wet hair. And when you blow dry - you add more serum. Using serum on both wet and dry hair - helps your hair from becoming static. Also remember - a good serum doesn't weigh your hair down!

A Banana, honey, curd hair mask. Can be applied from roots to tips. A must-do for all upcoming brides because their hair will get exposed to heat, products etc. and get dry and weak. Curd gives moisture, and has probiotics that help prevent flaking, dandruff. Banana also great for moisture and strengthens bonds in hair. Honey gives shine, and helps the hair to hold moisture for longer. Take 1 ripe banana and mash it up. Add 4 tbsp curd and 1-2 teaspoon of honey. Blend or whisk till smooth. Keep it on for half an hour and wash off with a sulfate free shampoo and follow with a conditioner for best results. A sulfate free shampoo is a must!

Wedding preparations and shopping can make your hair dull and lifeless. So to add a little shine and moisture, try these tips. This will enhance your hair naturally. The mixture of milk and honey works like a charm. Antibacterial honey fights scalp infection, excess oil and dryness while milk makes your hair soft and smooth. Mix two tablespoons of honey into one cup of raw milk and mix it well. Apply this mixture onto hair from root to shaft and leave it be for 20 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water and repeat on a weekly basis (for permanent results). Another secret for shiny hair is a treatment with apple cider vinegar. It smoothens and clarifies hair cuticles, hence giving you healthy and shiny tresses. Dilute a tablespoon of vinegar with half a cup of water. Pour this solution over wet hair, and comb through. Comb very nicely on wet hair. Let it rest for five minutes before rinsing off and see the results. If you want, you can add few drops of essential oil for fragrance.
