When it comes to Telugu weddings in the US, here's a first for WedMeGood! Sneha and Jetty got hitched during the pandemic after the dust settled down, and they thankfully had their parents with them as they were able to fly down to attend the wedding. The bride had a lot of her outfits customised from India, and their wedding was a celebration full of happiness and some pretty bridal looks. Take a look if you're looking for some inspiration from this wedding all the way from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Meet Sneha and Jetty

We met through our mutual friends and in no time we realized our love for each other. Our families were more than happy to get us married, but due to the pandemic it was a bit challenging to have this wedding in India. We decided to get married here in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our parents flew in from India and we planned our wedding with our close friends and family members living in the United States.

Vendor Reviews

Photography

Wedding Photography: It was done by R Square Studios. They are US based and they did a great job in capturing all the details of the wedding as well as our haldi, mehendi, sangeeth events. We even had our pre-wedding photo shoot done by them in Boneville Salt Flats, Utah. They did an amazing job in capturing those portraits during sunset.

Engagement Photo Shoot: It was done by LA Digital Photos. He is based in Los Angeles and we met him through an app here. We were from a different location and were flying to LA for the photo shoot. So we didn't know him at all, just booked him and paid some advance and to our surprise he was at the shoot location before us. This shoot was done in March and there were COVID restrictions in place at the location. Instead of backing out from the shoot, he took some amazing pictures of us on the LA streets in the midst of the heavy traffic. He also managed to click our pictures outside the Urban Lights location as they didn't let us in due to COVID.

Engagement Ceremony Shoot: It was done by Ashley Simmons, she is a Utah based lifestyle photographer. Though she was not familiar with our Indian traditions, she managed to capture everything perfectly and she is also very reasonable.

Mandap Decor

It was done by Magic Lamp Decors. They are based in Salt Lake City, Utah. We showed them our idea of the wedding mandap and also the colors we were looking for. They communicated well and completed the decor on time as we had only a couple hours available to set up our wedding mandap at the venue. Would definitely recommend them.

Bridal Outfits

Mehendi, Bridesmaids shoot and Haldi outfits - I got them stitched from a local vendor in Hyderabad, Zaara Khan. I coordinated with her the colors, designs and measurements. She stitched them just the way we wanted and delivered them to us here on time.

I bought some of my pre-wedding shoot outfit from Anushree Reddy Design and Sangeeth outfit from Seema Gujral Design. Groom's outfits are from Mebaaz and Manyavar.
