Glam celebrations with cutest candid portraits? Double check!

This Delhi wedding had it all. Harleen and Uday were meant to be. From knowing of each other since the first year of college to actually getting to know each other 6 years later, this couple slowly found their way to each other and realised the love they had was unmatched. Then what? The next step was to get married - and have the celebration of a lifetime.

Planned meticulously by The Millennial Bridesmaid★ 5 , this wedding had so many elements that we couldn't help but bookmark them all. The innovative hashtag, the pastel bride tribe wine glasses, the numerous custom outfits that Harleen wore - we loved it all. So what are you waiting for? Scroll down and start pinning already.

Meet Harleen & Uday

Uday and I were together in North Campus, Ramjas and Hansraj respectively, and knew of each other since 1st-year college (2009). We found each other cute, however, we never officially met until 2015 at a friend's Christmas party. We clicked instantly and ended up talking the entire night well into the morning. And that was it, "end of life as we knew it". We kept in touch after that and five months later we were dating.

From The Bride:

We got married on the 30th of July 2021, our wedding had to be postponed due to the second wave of Covid. The venue was also moved from Agra to Delhi. Before the lockdown, the only prep that had been done was my bridal outfits. Rest everything was done within 25 days of the wedding. The entire credit for pulling off this huge feat goes to my mom, Kulsharan Chhabra, and my sister, Kavya Singh Chhabra. Both of them worked day and night with Aanchal (The Millennial Bridesmaid) and the rest of the vendors to make sure everything was perfect for the T. I had always wanted a grand but intimate wedding but never thought intimate was possible in a big fat Punjabi setup. But due to the guest restrictions, I ended up getting my dream wedding. The only people there were our closest family and friends and the amount of love that Uday and I felt in those 2 days is unexplainable. I have never felt such a myriad of emotions as I did on these 3 magical days. Each moment was filled with so much laughter and joy that none of us wanted the celebrations to end!

Vendor Reviews:

Venue: Trident, Gurgaon
Ever since I visited Trident Gurgaon back in 2017, I had decided that if I get married in Delhi then it had to be at this property. Beauty and grandeur of the property aside, the staff made sure that we had everything we needed and the hospitality was par excellence. The guests could not stop raving about the food, so all in all, it was a perfect choice!

Makeup Artist: Mehendi- Kavleen Arneja, Cocktail & Sagan - SP Eastland, Anand Karaj - Samaira Sandhu
This being the first event, I was extremely nervous but Kavleen made me feel very comfortable and did a fabulous job. She also did my sister's make-up for all 3 days, she made sure that all looks were different and that she looked stunning. SP Eastland was my top choice for this day since I knew she is excellent for the kind of look I wanted for this function. She did a phenomenal job and to date, everyone compliments me on my look this day. She also did my Mom’s makeup very well. Samaira Sandhu is a magician, especially for all Anand Karaj brides. I knew I had to have her for my big day and she did not disappoint. She made me look and feel so royal and beautiful. Flawless job!

Photography: Shutterdown Photography
Shutterdown was the first vendor I finalized! They had covered a couple of my friend's weddings and after seeing the deliverables my mind was made up. The entire team is so warm and friendly that after a bit you forget that you are talking to some professional who is there to do a job but rather feel that they are a part of your wedding party. Lakshay is amazing at making the brides (especially super nervous ones like me) feel very comfortable and he captures the most amazing bridal portraits! He truly is a master of his art! Habib and Malvika did a brilliant job as well! They are extremely professional and make sure to stay in touch even after the event and are always available for any queries that might arise.

Entertainment:  The Unplugged Project
They are known as the best in the business and now we know why. Everyone had such a gala time and the vibe they created was electric! No one wanted them to stop playing. Special shoutout to Aditya for taking out time and jamming with Uday (groom) before the wedding since he wanted to perform a few songs with them to surprise me. The band will truly remain a special part of our wedding memories!

Bar: Clayton Gracias
Clayton's team went above and beyond our expectations. They are known for their delicious and innovative cocktails but the level of personalization they did was phenomenal. 5/5 for everything! Cannot recommend them enough.
