But now that things are under control in most parts of the world, honeymoons to international locations are back and how! People who missed out on honeymooning during the pandemic are planning celebratory trips along with newly-wed honeymooners. Since guidelines are fluctuating constantly, and conditions have changed multiple times, we decided to put together the ultimate guidebook of all covid-19 vaccination rules and regulations for the top honeymoon spots of 2022 so that all you have to worry about is planning your dream honeymoon!

Maldives

The official ministry statement states that no RTPCR screening needed for incoming and outgoing tourists if the individuals have completed the prescribed doses of a Covid-19 vaccine that is being approved by the Maldives Food & Drug Authority or by the World Health Organization (WHO) Emergency Use Listing (EUL) and at least 14 (fourteen) days have passed since (Booster not required). If your outgoing destination needs a negative RTPCR, you will have to get it done before you board. If you are symptomatic, a RTPCR test will be conducted and you will have to isolate until you test negative.

London

All tourists to Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the British Overseas Territories no longer have to present any COVID-related documentation. If your outgoing destination needs a negative RTPCR, you will have to get it done before you board.

France

According to European regulations, vaccinated travellers don’t have to show negative RTPCR reports on arrival. Unvaccinated travellers are still required to present a negative test result to enter France. Travellers who test positive must self-isolate, in accordance with the recommendations of the local public health insurance authority. During your stay in France, travellers should continue to strictly respect protective measures and physical distancing, wear a face mask and be vigilant and act responsibly if symptoms appear or if they are infected. Switzerland

There are no more pandemic restrictions in Switzerland as long as you are double vaccinated. You don’t need to wear a mask at public places and you are no longer obliged to show a Covid certificate to enter bars, restaurants and other indoor venues such as sports facilities, theatres or concert halls.

Australia

You do not need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to travel to and from Australia. Masks are still required on flights travelling to Australia. Testing and quarantine requirements and domestic transfer restrictions may differ by state and territory. Bali

All travellers entering Bali must show your COVID-19 vaccine certificate consisting of two doses and/or a booster (third) vaccine administered at least 14 days before departure. Upon entry, if you show any symptoms a RT-PCR test is mandatory. Quarantine period of 5 days is required for those who have not been vaccinated or have only received the first dose of the vaccine. If in case you suffer from any medical issues that don’t allow you to take the vaccination, you need to have a doctor’s certificate from your home country stating the same.

South Africa

Currently, South Africa has no pandemic restrictions. There is no requirement of vaccination proof or PCR negative tests at Ports of Entry and no need to wear masks as well.

Seychelles

All vaccinated travellers are exempted from the pre-travel PCR test. Your vaccination certificate must include the first two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine including a booster dose that is administered after 6 months.

Greece

All travellers can enter Greece without having to provide COVID-19 proof – a vaccination, recovery, or test certificate – upon their arrival. However, the Greek Minister of Health, Thanos Plevris, has highlighted that Greece might reintroduce its entry restrictions again in September, once the summer season is over, so ensure you check before you book your tickets.
