Elegant Wedding With Fabulous Bridal Outfits & Decor Themes!

This one had an amazing setting- some pretty decor, neat themes and 5 functions. But what we loved most about Swastika and Samarth's wedding were the bridal looks- the fact that she wore some big designers like Sabyasachi, Anita Dongre and Gaurav Gupta, but she kept her own look subtle and elegant to let the outfit shine with some help from Shamita Gogia Makeup Artist★ 5 . From 'A Starry Night' to 'Cherry Blossoms', this one had amazing decor themes too. The photos captured by Shutterdown - Lakshya Chawla★ 5 did full justice to this wedding.

We had 5 events: Cocktail, Mehendi, Engagement, Wedding and Reception spread over three days. The theme for the coktail was starry night.T he mehendi the following day was an intimate event with female family members and friends which was also a sangeet with performances by my cousins and aunts. The engagement had a ghazal night and the decor was in cherry blossom theme. We had a pastel outdoor floral decor set up for the morning wedding but unfortunately there were a brief spell of rainfall early morning making the lawns muddy and we had to shift indoors last minute. I'm very grateful to the resort for managing everything. Thankfully the resort has beautiful scenic spots so we were able to get good couple shots outdoors. The wedding was followed by a grand Reception in the evening.

Mayfair Lagoon, Bhubaneswar- The hotel was very helpful with the events and also with the hospitality for all our guests. The food was outstanding for all the events. We would not have managed to shift the location last minute due to rains without their cooperation

Makeup Artist

Shamita Gogia Makeup: Loved my experience with Shamita. She gave me three very different and beautiful looks for my ring ceremony, wedding and reception. All the events were back to back and there was no way I could have gotten ready so smoothly without her and Tina( hair and draping ). My makeup was so so natural and long lasting despite all the long events, I got a lot of compliments for it. Even though we never got to do a trial Everything was just the way I had wanted it, I felt like we were completely in sync with what the final outcomes should be. More than the makeup I think I’d really like to thank her and Tina for being so sweet and being a calming influence in the pre wedding madness that was happening. I really felt like I was around friends. (Also bonus tip :Shamita is a great help in directing the bridal photo shoot

Shutterdown Photography: Malvika, Ankit and their team were extremely patient despite the back to back events and made us very comfortable. Not just with us they were very accommodating with all our friends and family members. Had a great time shooting with them. Loved the pictures!
