Look at this wedding closely and you will find tiny little charming details to obsess over - the kaleeras with pastel roses, the gold mesh for the brides entry, and the gorgeous fuschia pink bridal lehenga that's not been done to death. Major props to the groom for the sweet note to the bride before the wedding (viewable in gallery) and to Beginnings For You★ 4.8  for capturing all this gorgeousness.

Meet Jessica & Ishank

"As cheesy as it sounds- we were high-school sweethearts. We've been dating since we were 14 and even though we are totally different people now, we somehow managed to keep 'us' unchanged" says Jessica happily.

The Wedding

From The Bride:

"I think the one thing we were clear about from the beginning was- nothing should be 'run of the mill'. We didn't want a typical wedding and while traditions and customs were super important to us, we wanted to add our own touch to everything.

For the Sangeet, the theme was glitter. There were elements of glitter everywhere from the tables to people's outfits to my own. The Mehendi was at home but we had a super colourful, cheery theme for that as well and the wedding was just very handpicked. We had ladders at the entry, a white flower entry-way. a huge custom mandap and no stage! We walked through the lawn talking to people after the pheras. We kept the guest list completely on check to make sure we were only invited people who truly cared about us" adds Jessica.

"As for my personal style, I'm very picky, and critical about my own clothes and style so the wedding was a tough time. I'd like to say I knew exactly what I wanted but that would be a giant lie. The one thing I did try was spend a lot of time looking at photos in magazines, on Pinterest and on WedMeGood. Of everything from decor to outfits etc to get a sense of what really appeals to me. Similarly with outfits, I tried to keep an open mind and decided that I'll just keep trying things on till I find what I like. My sangeet outfit was a super girly, pastel coloured, glittery lehenga and my wedding lehenga was bright pink with two dupattas- a veil and a shoulder, and just one-of-a-kind" explains Jessica.

"My Mehendi decor was completely DIY. My best friend practically built the backdrop with the phoolwala and stuff we'd bought from Chandni Chowk in one of our dozen trips. We had clay birds hung from trees and an outfit that we'd practically designed with a local designer. All my jewellery was from this designer called Sirjana who, again, makes one-of-a-kind pieces" adds Jessica.
