He is a pilot. She-an airhostess . One flight to Bangkok, one breakfast the next morning and some time later -An adorable Nikah that has started our week off at WedMeGood with a whole lot of pretty.  Theo and Amrin's wedding is full of saturated jewel tones and minimalistic, yet effective outfits.  We loved the sweet marigold Mehendi ,  the blood red lehenga and those prettily packed wedding favours.  Coffee Stains photography captured this event beautifully .

"Theo and I met while I was still flying for Cathay Pacific airways, he was the pilot of my flight from Bangkok to Delhi and we co-incidentally met over breakfast at the restaurant in Taj palace, New Delhi. Breakfast is a great way to start the day, so it was for us! We connected instantly and today we are a happy 6 month young married couple. We got married at the Taj west end, Bangalore. The taj will always remain special to us since it's where we first met," explains Amrin.

The Wedding

From The Bride:

"Theo's family from South Africa was visiting India for the first time. We wanted them to have a glimpse of Indian cultures and traditions and be a part of a colourful Indian sangeet. We wanted an environment where it would be easy for all our guests to interact with the couple and for them to take from our wedding the closeness they could feel with us and the love between the couple. Our concept was elegant, chic and simple, to reflect our personalities so what our guests would remember primarily from our wedding would be the couples relationship. The beautiful poolside at the Taj was decorated warmly to suit just this. We had an evening of dancing, some choreographed sequences by the brides friends which led into an evening of freestyle thumkas, and everybody who attended the sangeet had shaken a leg by the end of the evening!" explains Amrin.

"We had a Nikah in the evening that continued into a formal seated dinner over one long table of 60 seats. The experienced  staff at the Taj carried out this synchronised service efficiently and the food no doubt deserves a special mention. A Sabyasachi lehenga completed my bridal look. Coffee stains with their very professional photographers Sneha, Venkatesh and team captured our special day, we have some great candid shots and an entertaining video. None of this would have been possible without our most creative wedding planner - Sanya Blumberg. It was a great team effort to make our special day the most memorable" adds Amrin.
