Destination weddings are sure a whole lotta fun, and Aksha & Hemanth's gorgeous Goa wedding is one stunning example of the same! Our favourite things from this wedding were:
- The eye-catching decor by Atisuto specially the gorgeous mandap under the tree!
- Aksha's super pretty yet comfortable clothes
- Photography by The Wedding Salad that captured the entire wedding splendidly
The whole celebrations were about their love and it was just jaw-droppingly beautiful. Don't take our word for it, scroll down and see for yourself!

From The Bride:
The both of us were completely involved and lucky in that sense that our families trusted us and gave us the freedom to make all the decisions. Sometimes Hemanth was even more involved than I was and I think that's rare. And more importantly our preferences and tastes matched for the important things.. we both more or less envisioned an elegant , simple and laid back affair - much as the kind of people we are personally and we had one goal, in mind that the guests and families should have a relaxed and stress-free time and that's exactly what we got and we also thoroughly enjoyed the wedding!
I planned my looks keeping one thing in mind - comfort! All my looks were minimal, with no fuss and comfortable! Luckily I had a free hand to select what I like and what suited my personality the most. And I was extremely comfortable and in turn ended up feeling relaxed and super happy in the photos! I'm not too fond of bright colours and with a destination like Goa we had the free hand to pick more casual and simpler outfits ! Most of the events were outdoor so I picked my colours and footwear also accordingly. Ironicaly I picked my jewelry before I had all my outfits ready , so that was a challenge but I managed eventually and I wanted to ensure that I don't just have to lock my outfits up once the wedding is over. I want to be able to wear them again.
Fav moments captured from the wedding?
Hemanth personally prefers one during his haldi when I'm looking over the bushes at him and sort of blushing, and mine would be the one where he offers me his hand while I'm climbing the stairs of the altar. I think the backdrop was beautifully captured. And the both of us absolutely love the drone shots of the wedding setup , we were thinking of even frame them and putting them up at home.
Vendor Reviews:
We couldn't have asked for better vendors for anything. We made the perfect choices and now share a good rapport with most of them them and I feel they understood our sensibilities even though some things might been away from the way they conventionally do things. They took time out to hear us, as Hemanth and I are both very particular and clear about the things we wanted, again super lucky and they all worked harmoniously with one another to make the wedding what it was!
