Elaborate Mumbai wedding for kindergarden sweethearts

We have a  soft spot for school romances and this couple is a perfect example of one  . Our favourite elements of this wedding are definitely Disha's outfits- that digital printed mehendi outfit and the saturated raspberry pink bridal lehenga are both gorgeous , shot by 'Girl in Pink' Photography. Disha recounts: "We were in the same school since kindergarten, except I was always the studious kid and he was always the brat. While I changed cities, we reconnected on a social network and that is how it all started. We hit off instantly, chatted a lot, became best friends and eventually fell in love. We have been together since the past 7 years and got married last year in November"

From the bride:  We had 4 events:  a celebratory night, mehendi, wedding and reception. The theme for our mehendi was 'pop art' and the decor was very funky . My own lehenga was offbeat for the same function with a navy zipped blouse and a digital print skirt.

For the wedding  and reception we had gone with a royal palace theme and in keeping for the theme I had a royal velvet Sabyasachi lehenga with a turquoise and navy dupatta.
