From The Bride:
Our wedding was an extension of our personality - simple, warm, easy and a big party at the same time. We love going out and wanted our wedding to be a party for us and our friends & family. After all the necessary rituals in the gurudwara, our wedding kicked off with a youngsters party which was an all white themed party. Then a Dhol night right before the main functions which was a very close knit affair and kicked off the celebratory mood for the wedding. First main function was the cocktail which was a play on lights and glam. It was all about dancing the night away. Next day was the mehendi which wasn't a traditional event per se but involved fun games like air hockey, beer pong etc but at the same time had a lot of tears flowing because the next day was the wedding. For our wedding, we wanted to literally smell the fragrance of fresh flowers and nothing else. It had the sanctity of both sets of parents getting very emotional during the Anand Karaj which quickly switched to party mode as soon as the pheras were done and as soon as the singer took center stage. Anhad event went on stage to sing a song with the singer. There was only warmth in the air with all the families coming together and having a gala time while blessing us.
A special point about my wedding outfit was that the one I selected was specially called in from Kolkata and on the day I went to see it, Anamika herself was in the store and helped me select from my top 2 choices. She found the perfect tones for my complexion and asked her team to completely customise the outfit suited to me and my personality. This feeling will stay with me forever because of how special the outfit is. My mom curated all of my jewellery from different vendors. I could only trust her to know what I would want to wear on my most special day.

Mehendi - Chaitali Gupta: I was unexpectedly surprised by her talent because I gave her an extremely short and vague brief of what I wanted and she implemented it exactly like how I envisioned it in my head.
Wedding - Pooja Khurana :The best decision of the entire wedding was using her as my MUA for the wedding. She is warm, endearing and extremely understanding. There was no rush, noise or unnecessary commotion. From my 1st consult with her up till the wedding, she catered to all my indecisiveness with my hair/makeup/drape etc.
Hairstylist (Wedding) Archana Rautela with her is also literally the best. The only one who understood how to tame my frizzy Hair and they did not budge for 12 hours. Best best best team ever!

Wedding Planning: Jaideep Singh - Man With A Plan
The planner becomes your best friend during the wedding and he truly was one. He was super hands on and was always available despite having a team who was managing and coordinating the tasks. On the main event days, I didn't need to even think of how everything is happening and flowing. There was NO obstacle at any of the events. For any last minute changes, they were standing right there with all solutions at hand. Highly recommend using him for your wedding because he makes it feel like a breeze and it was mostly because of him that we were able to enjoy our wedding so much.
Photography: Beyond Photos
I could not have asked for a better photographer. He shot our roka and all big/small wedding related events. He understood exactly what I wanted aesthetically and was open to accomodating ideas that I gave them. They did not use any copy paste formula and took time to understand our personalities while shooting us. The wedding trailer and movie was beautifully put together in the first edit itself because they knew what we were looking for and the emotions that we wanted to capture during the process.
Decor: Mistique Events
I randomly got to know of Akriti and ended up using her for the cocktail and wedding. Super creative and cooperative team. They always said yes to any crazy or unrealistic ideas that I had. The setup looked flawless thanks to them. Highly recommend!
