|
Singer-songwriter Raveena Mehta recently got married to her beau, Saaket Mehta, a US-based investor in Jaipur. The wedding was a 3-day celebration filled with glitz and glamour and lots of celebs. From the bride walking down in a 15 feet long veil to both the bride's and the groom's side having their own baraats as they progressed for the varmala, there was a lot to love in this grand celebration. Raveena also got a love story lehenga customised for her big day, marking their 7 years of courtship together, and came in the same car her dad had used for his baraat 26 years ago! Take a look at this glorious union in the most royal setting!

Wedding
From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on November 25, 2022. The wedding was at the Rambagh palace in Jaipur, one of the most beautiful heritage properties in the world. Our relationship has been rooted in being equals and so we wanted to integrate this integral part of their relationship in our marriage. Both the bride and the groom had a baraat that started from two ends of the Rambagh palace and ‘met in the middle’ literally and figuratively, where both baraats met after which they had the Var Mala ceremony. I wore a 15 Ft veil with my sisters and cousins holding it up and walked to her rendition of 'Tere Jeya Hor Disda' while Saaket walked on from the other side of the walk way with his baraat squad, they met at the center of the Rambagh Palace for the Var Mala. I had the bride's side baraat in the same car my father had his in 26 years ago, a vintage Mercedes that was restored for this event!
My wedding lehenga was a Love Story lehenga, with embroidery of every place we met in during the course of our 7 year long distance relationship with the year and date.
