Bridal fashion at India Beach Fashion Week: Snapshot

We would have expected Beach Fashion Week in Goa to give us some serious honeymoon inspiration- think tankinis, cute kimonos in Indian prints and fun, flirty and fabulous gowns. To our surprise however,  a few designers showed us a glimpse of their heavier collections as well. This is the recap !   #1 Sounia Gohil Sounia Gouhil had a modern spin on lehengas with digital print skirts, slits and metal accessories to add edge . Some of her outfits were fresh, fun and the finishing was very clean. Definitely favourite show of the lot #2 Shane and Falguni Falguni and Shane Peacock had a ton of white outfits - some with interesting persian inspired digital prints while others were white on white threadwork   #3 Anjali and Arjun Not too sure how either of these outfits are 'Beach fashion' but Anjali and Arjun stuck to their trademark aesthetic. Lehengas in colors of rust, terracotta and wine. 4. Zanaaya Zanaaya Couture from Mumbai had anarkalis, concept saris and lehengas. While the outfits were very wearable, they felt just a tad bit 'seen' to us.
