Imagine meeting at a wedding shoot, and then getting married down the line! Sparks flew between Tanaz and Harjinder when they met at a shoot, and we must say they do make a pretty pair! Their Anand Karaj, which had a whimsical and modern vibe was picture perfect with vintage and rustic decor elements- shot beautifully on the lens of Tuhina Chopra Photoworks★ 5 . What we also loved was the bride reusing her mom's wedding outfit for her sangeet, which looked absolutely regal! Her wedding lehenga from Plumtin★ 4.8 was one that oozed regality too. Read on to find out more about this beautiful union.

Harjinder & I saw each other at shoot that was a collaboration between Plumtin & Punjab Bespoke. I was modelling for Plumtin and he’s the owner of Punjab bespoke which I was absolutely unaware of at that time. Had no idea who he was! There was this sense of a very strong connection that I felt even though we didn’t exchange a word. Ignored the sparks, two months later when the pictures came out we were all tagged in the photographs. That’s where I actually even got to know his name. Started messaging each other. One fine day, decided to meet for a coffee and that coffee which was supposed to be for one hour turned into four hours followed by dinner. Apart from being extremely good looking what actually made me pick him was his visionary attitude, the fact that he’s very grounded, and a very giving human being. After losing my mother 10 years ago, he’s the only person who could fulfill the emotional vacuum and stand by me through everything. It’s like you’re running and running, then finally one fine day you take a deep sigh, like you’ve finished some difficult race- he’s that sigh of relief!

From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on February 10, 2023. I always wanted a rustic, open space wedding. Fresh flowers, little details everywhere and something that would speak of who I am as a person. Ever since I was a child I’d dreamt of this day and I must tell you, it was far better that I expected it to be. Lots of fresh flowers, laughter, my huge family and friends, with vintage details everywhere! Books, photographs, flowers, wooden boxes, wrought iron structures, nature all around me, the wind blowing in my face and sun shining over us along with my mommy’s blessings.

Vendor Reviews

Photography: Tuhina Chopra Photoworks

Tuhina did a fabulous job. The photographs are breathtakingly beautiful. They capture the true essence of emotions and have a rustic vibe to them. She was also very professional and accommodating.

Bridal Lehenga: Plumtin

Sammy as usual did a fabulous job with my lehenga. A mutual admiration of a vintage dupatta at the store led us to reach this final product. She kept me in the loop through the entire process. From dying to the fitting trials and embroidery colours and patterns, everything was looked into by her in detail. She delivered a product which can be cherished for generations to come.

Groomwear: Panjab Bespoke

Harjinder, the groom is the man behind Panjab bespoke and he’s the one who’s been designing sherwanis for so many people but designing is own was definitely a hard nut to crack. He wore his own creations for all the functions. The details at the back of his sherwani took a piece of my heart away.

Makeup Artists

Wedding- Shubhdeep did a fantastic job with my makeup on my wedding day. Absolutely natural and just the way I like it. She was professional with her work and also took my inputs along the course of make up. Highly satisfied!

Sangeet- Fabulous Face Stories delivered beyond my expectations with my makeup for the sangeet night. Subtle yet a soft glam to the look. Absolutely recommend her.

Reception- Flawless by Zareen did a fantastic job for my reception. It was a soft glam look yet very simple and soft. Absolutely loved the magic she created with her brush!

Decor: Modgill Tent House

Manish from Modgill tents and decorators did the decor for all functions. He was very proactive and professional throughout the wedding. He was able to implement my ideas into reality and was extremely patient and creative.
