Beautiful Traditional Telugu Wedding At Ramoji Film City In Hyderabad
|
|
A fun Sangeet at Hawa Mahal and a traditional wedding at a gorgeous South Indian temple - doesn't that sound epic? Well, this couple managed to pull that off without having to to-and-fro between Hyderabad and Jaipur. Thanks to the thematic Ramoji Film Studio, they did that just fine in the same vicinity. Planned by their own parents, this duo had an beautiful intimate wedding and Sweet Pickle Pictures wonderfully captured every bit of it.
Meet Neha & Hemanth
"Hemanth and I first met in Arizona. We both went to ASU for college. He accidentally showed up at my Computer Science orientation instead of his Electrical Engineering orientation. You may think it’s a coincidence, but we call it fate! We instantly became friends. We studied together, travelled together, watched a million TV shows together and in time, learnt so much about each other. While our similar interests brought us together, you’d be surprised to know that our differences are what brought us even closer. Although we come from the same culture and speak the same language, we had completely different experiences growing up. Hemanth moved out of India at a very young age, while I haven’t travelled outside of India until I decided to pursue Master’s. The exciting part of our relationship was the fact that we had so much to learn about and from each other. It’s been almost 6 years since we’ve been best friends (still pinching myself) and a lifetime more to go," shares the bride.
Haldi
A Haldi ceremony with friends and family marked the beginning of the celebrations. While the bride picked a mustard yellow lehenga to be her OOTD, the groom went for an all-white traditional look.
Sangeet
The Sangeet was straight out of a fairytale. Complementing the palace-setting, the bride wore a gown and looked like a princess.
Wedding
It was a traditional Telugu wedding at a temple in the presence of their loved ones. Adorned in temple jewellery and a stunning saree, Neha made for a super pretty South-Indian bride.
From The Bride:
We got married on February 10th, 2022 - that was when the magic happened! Since Hemanth did not grow up in India, I really wanted him to experience a fully traditional Telugu wedding. Our main goal was to pick a location that speaks for itself instead of trying to use a lot of décor to bring our theme to life. We got extremely lucky to have found a couple of beautiful spots at India's most fun thematic destination - Ramoji Film City. We had guests coming over from different places in and out of India and we wanted a place where the we could elevate their experience of the stay. We planned to have both our Sangeet Night and the wedding at Ramoji Film City and it turned out to be all that and more than what we dreamt about.

Rao Garu from the sales team worked with us every step of the way very patiently. Every single guest absolutely enjoyed the experience of staying, attending the Sangeet at the beautiful outdoor Hawa Mahal, and the traditional Temple style wedding. The food by the RFC team was beyond our expectations. Overall, we loved working with the RFC team and we thank them for making our dreams come to life!
Bridal Makeup: Maanasa Makeup Artist
The wedding makeup artist was Maanasa Makeup Artist. I wanted a very natural look and I couldn't have asked for more from how it turned out to be.
