An Intimate Wedding With The Bride In A Self Designed Lehenga
|
|
Tunisha & Siddhant's love story is one for the Bollywood movies! A slowly blooming love, supportive parents and a dream proposal - their story is one that makes us believe in true love. Tunisha wore a self designed lehenga on her wedding, and it was a beautiful pastel beauty. Her bridal portraits are stunning, and she looks as graceful as ever. The Wedding Crasher and Aanchal Dhara Photography , both captured this intimate wedding's most adorable aspects in a beautiful manner and we bet you're gonna love the pictures as much as we did!

From The Bride:
I think I’m someone who loves things to be as simple and elegant as they can get. From day one I knew I wanted my lehenga to be a pastel shade, I knew my mandap decor and the rest just fell in place.
The Engagement was in December in Mumbai at Dome (Intercontinental). I wanted it to be simple and low key and instead of having an engagement party we decided to go with a brunch ceremony which turned out just perfect. The reception was grand and traditional in Ahmedabad where the decor was outstanding, which is where Sids parents live. For the wedding venue, one thing we were sure of is that it has to be an intimate destination wedding. We looked at atleast 40 venues before finalising the JW Marriott Resort and Spa, Khao Lak, Phuket. The wedding was a year after the engagement which gave us more than enough time to plan it well. While I chose to go with designers for most of my functions, I decided to decided to design my very own engagement and wedding phera outfit to give it that personal touch.Everything I love was seen in that outfit, from pastel tones to peacock feathers, lotuses, chandeliers and symbolic elephants. The rain Gods came through right before the wedding ceremony and unexpectedly stopped just an hour before the celebrations (that was drama right there when we thought the wedding would be washed off)
The 3 days of celebrations were a blast and the retro themed sundowner was an absolute game changer (I would highly recommend going back in time and having a father daughter dance to a retro song). Life is very unpredictable and Sid who did his undergraduate studies in Standford, US and myself who spent 5 years studying in IE, Spain had no idea we would end up in Singapore meeting each other.

Excellent is downplaying it, if you have read my story you know they were very very good!
Makeup Artist: Fatima Soomar
Love her because she gives me a natural look!
Photographers: Wedding - The Wedding Crasher Official and Aanchal Dhara, Reception - Studio BeUnique
Both, The Wedding Crasher Officiala nd Aanchal Dhara are phenomenal. Aanchal’s work is truly different.
Decor: Pavarit & Co
I have designed and 3D rendered the decor myself but execution was Pavarit and Co. They are excellent, even though the rains washed off the decor, he and the hotel set it up again in 1 hr!
Mehendi Artist: Rupal Rathod
She is very humble and especially because she specialises in traditional henna but I wanted something very simple and she delivered.
