What can be more heartwarming than getting married to the love of your life, in your childhood home? Nothing! And that was exactly why this wedding captured our heart. Simrat wore a beautiful pink lehenga by Rimple and Harpreet Narula★ 4.8 , and kaleeres designed by her mother! We also loved how her outfits for all the functions, whether it was the breezy dress she wore for her mehendi or the stunning gown she wore for her reception, were not just pretty but comfortable as well. And to add to all that, was the absolutely gorgeous photography by Cinewire. They ensured to capture their most candid, intimate and perfect moments!

Meet Simrat & Maneet

Simrat tells us how they met and how their love only got stronger over the years, "We met in 2011 during our undergrad. We had different trades but common friends. The friendship grew and all our gang used to hangout together all the time. We started liking each other and we didn’t realize when this friendship turned into a serious relationship. Eventually our families met and on Dec 15, 2014 we got rokafied. Then, we shifted base to the united states for further studies. After have known each other for more than 7 years we finally tied the knot on Jan 20, 2019."

The Wedding

The Reception

From The Bride:

One thing I was determined about was that I wanted to be comfortable on my wedding day be it my clothes, shoes or jewellery so that I can enjoy the day without complaining about anything.  Also my mom dad’s anand karaj were at mom’s paternal home so I also always dreamt that my anand karaj will be at home where I grew up. And it was blissful, I have no words to describe my feelings and emotions. Everything was just perfect during anand karaj.

Tanya Kaur was my makeup artist and she is the best. I love her work. For my sangeet she gave me nice punjabi look with braid. For wedding she kept the look very subtle which went well with my pastel lehnga and jewellery. For the reception it was all about glam with dramatic eyes to mehroon red lips. My wedding lehenga was from Rimple Harpreet Narula and I loved the bird patterns and the peacock motifs. As soon as I saw it in the showroom, I knew this will be my wedding outfit. My kaleere were designed by my mom and masi and they had a peacock pattern to match with my wedding lehenga. My mom is very creative so I wanted at least one thing in my wedding outfit to be designed by her so she designed my kaleeras. My wedding jewellery was from Jagdish Jewellers, Chandigarh. I love chokers and I was very particular that on my wedding day I want to wear a choker set. They made it possible with perfect finishing. Lastly, Cinewire was our photographer and videographer and I absolutely loved their work!
