An Elegant & Fun Delhi Wedding With A Bride In Stunning Pastels!
|
|
A colourful mehendi, a vibrant wedding and a quirky hashtag makes this wedding one of our favourites. Add to that the stunning pastel shaded lehenga that the bride wore, and the wedding becomes absolutely gorgeous! She slayed both her mehendi looks and rocked her wedding! And the fact that the couple had an absolute blast was just like a cherry on top! Hotel Vista was a picture-perfect venue while photography by Through the Barrel took it up a notch!

From The Bride:
"Our wedding, #mehrakabhallaho (mehra being arjuns surname) (bhalla being heena's surname), was every bit of a never ending party filled with love, togetherness and a lot of dancing till dawn. Both our functions were sun-downers, so as we get the maximum time to have a good time. We wanted our close family and friends around to have a complete blast with cocktails and music, and it was just that. The essence of our wedding apart from the decor and music, was the vibe which was elevated because of our friends and family being a part of it and losing themselves in celebrating our togetherness. Our Mehendi was a sundowner so as to enjoy the sun and mimosas. We wanted our Mehendi to be a fun, colourful affair and the decor was just that! It had a funky festive feel and was vibrant with neon colors, lots of light bulbs and an island bar bang in the middle for easy access to the liquids. And right beside it was a Hoegaarden kegg for the beer lovers. We had genda phool cones as our center table decor, colorful pompom hangings, and a lot or prints merging in for a modern feel. Our wedding, again was a sundowner with our pheras being an early evening affair, carried forward by reception and a banging all nighter. The whole wedding was about peaches, whites and pink in the day. We wanted a bit of subtlety yet a bit of punk, so we chose to go with pastels and whites with bright and bold prints. White lilies and peach flowers in the day added a bit of an English touch to the entire decor, with mason jars and chalkboard messages adding that funky element. As the sun set, there were lights everywhere, and the entire ambiance was of love and celebration. There was love, a lot of dancing, hugs and a feeling of togetherness all under one roof. This party carried on till the morning sun came out, and it was, hands down, the wildest party of 2018.
Jewellery was done by Shri Hari Daigems by Anirudh. He personally sat with me and understood what I wanted and made this whole set of bridal jewellery for me, from maang tikka to neck piece, rings, bangles, and nose ring. Decor by The Decor Company, kept every bit of our idea in mind and created just the mood board we were looking at. Every bit of the tiny detail was on point. Concepts and Cuisine (fio country and bar) was the best choice when it came to catering. We had each and every person go gaga over the food. We wanted a variety yet not a huge over flowing spread cause it turns to be a big waste. Fio created just the perfect menu for us with variety and a mix of cuisines for us and our guests couldn't stop talking about it. Videography byRock paper scissors', Ikron and Jo was just perfect. A wedding is not complete till you actually see the madness that was at the functions and RPS covered just the very essence of our wedding so damn well. Pranav Singh from Through The Barrel, has captured each and every person and the event, specially the emotions, so bloody well, we have actually had each and everyone love the pictures so so much. The best bet are these guys! Being a model I always had the best team to dress me for my big day. Kajee rai and Karan were a dream team! Mehendi was done by Ravi mehendi wala from Green Park and my mehendi was truly beautiful. Invites and gifts- We dint want the usual invites, so we went in for a caricature of sort presentation, had a very dear friend design it for us. For gifts I did some urlis with traditional besan and gond laddoos, packed them and covered them with a vibrant urli cover that I got made."
