Lilac lehenga with a pop of icy blue - now who would've thought that combination would look so striking! Rythm wore it and rocked the look. She was gorgeous as a bride and her outfits definitely wooed us. Rolling Canvas Presentations★ 5 shot this Brisbane wedding splendidly and we bet you'll be pinning images for inspiration!

Meet Rythm & Melvin

Rythm tells us how their childhood friendship blossomed into love and was cemented when they tied the knot, "We've known each other since we were 10 years old when I moved to Australia from India. He saw me at an Indian event and started asking people who I was, he just had to get to know me. Over the years I became friends with his sister and we had a teenage crush on each other at age 13. He actually asked me out on a date when we were 14 and I said no! (I know! but it worked out for the best hahaha). Fast forward 10 years to his sister's wedding where I was a bridesmaid and we felt the sparks fly again. It didn't take us long to go from just friends to something a lot more. And then 4 years later he surprised me with a romantic proposal by the river and not long after that we were married."

The Wedding

From The Bride:

We're both very filmy and knew our wedding had to not only have that Bollywood flair but also be very personalised to us. There was a lot of dancing and many cute moments to match! We had lots of family fly in from overseas and interstate and it meant the world to have them all by our side during the week long celebrations!

We had under three months to plan our wedding so the WedMeGood app, especially the checklist really came in handy! In addition to my family, who really put in all time and effort into ensuring we got the wedding of our dreams.

I love diy-ing and being creative so from the very start I incorporated our personalised touches. I designed our wedding invitation and created a logo to be used across the events (from backdrop, mithai bags to cake toppers). Our vendors were absolutely amazing and brought our vision to reality.

Vendor Reviews:

Frontier Raas - Both myself and my husband got our wedding day outfits from Frontier Raas. They had an amazing collection and were a one stop shop for us. Given we were limited with time and based overseas, the team at Frontier were able to quickly create our custom outfits for us. They are both so unique and different and we absolutely loved them! Thank you :)

Weddings by Sajawat - Azhar Ali, the lead stylish at Weddings By Sajawat did an amazing job in bringing our vision into reality. He was very attentive to detail and made sure we were absolutely satisfied with each event. Each event had a distinctively different style and feel which made each event very special. The wedding guests had nothing but praises for the decor. Thank you so much for all your efforts and for going above and beyond! :)
