Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing two longtime lovebirds finally arrive at a decision of tying the knot . Ace cricketer Harbhajan Singh and his long-time lady love Geeta Basra are all set to get married tomorrow after wrapping up their sangeet and mehendi ceremonies. Let's walk you through every single detail of the events that have happened so far, and the ones slated to take place in the next couple of days:

The invitations

Classic red , white and gold.

The Sangeet

Wearing a dark green lehenga with golden vine embroidery, strutted Geeta at her Sangeet ceremony with fiance Harbhajan, who wore a pink and white short kurta-churidar combo with an intricately embroidered sleeveless vest. The ceremony clearly emanated a fun and exuberant vibe, with pop yellow and orange colours, giving off a vibrant feel. On a side note, just how adorable is that flower-laden rickshaw?

The Mehendi

Held at Jalandhar, the Mehendi ceremony of the couple was a plush affair set against a pink and orange backdrop. Geeta wore a lemon yellow and pink lehenga designed by Archana Kocchar. We think, she couldn't have picked a better colour combination, given the fact that not only does it look cheerful on her, but it also brings out the mehendi on her hands. Brownie points for that exquisite matha-patti that we're surely going to add to our favourite accessories this wedding season!

The Chooda Ceremony, Wedding & Reception

Slated for October 29th in Phagwada (Punjab), both the chooda as well as the wedding ceremony is set to witness a grandeur displayed only at a big fat Indian wedding. Geeta is set to wear a beautiful fishtail lehenga with a cropped top made from "ahimsa silk", designed by Archana Kocchar. Geeta was spotted during one of her fittings with the designer, and we're still swooning over the criss-cross pattern and intricate embroidery! For the wedding, Geeta will wear a traditional red and gold lehenga, which we can't wait to see! Harbhajan, on the other hand, is all set to wear an ornate Bikaner-style achkan conceived and conceptualised by ace designer Raghavendra Rathore. With outfits featuring silk brocades from Benares and handloom fabrics from across the country, trust Bhajji to set a trend for men's wedding wear! The reception will be held on November 1 in Delhi, and we're sure it's going to be a full-fledged party graced with the who's who of the country. Here's ardently waiting for the upcoming functions so that we can tell you all about the most epic wedding of the year!
