A Ton of Ideas To Steal At This DIY Goa Wedding!

Fun quotes strewn throughout the pool area, XOXO games, a cute hangover kit and a super pretty photo wall. While Alila Diwa Resort gave this wedding a pretty backdrop, the multi-cultural wedding did make sure everyone had their fill of fun. We especially loved the photo booth and the cool umbrella decor at the wedding. The decorators and wedding planners, Mpire Weddings did a great job and Photography by The Lightsmiths was beautiful!

The Sangeet
The Wedding
From The Decorators, Mpire Weddings: "When we first heard about the wedding and Shweta’s ideas, we knew this one was different! Lars is from Germany, and Shweta from South Mumbai; so in that sense the mix of cultures and families was something that really excited us. In our first meeting with the couple we saw the connection between them (which made the wedding shoot really easy). "What excited us (and scared us in equal measures) was the idea of a DIY (Do It Yourself) wedding right in the middle of monsoons. Almost all props, ideas and décor that you see were literally purchased, hand made and created by our in-house team with craftsman like details. Shweta supervised everything herself, and I think most of the unique ideas from hampers, jam jars with toffees and candies for kids table, a sit down dinner with German tradition of table numbers, can be attributed to her," explains Mehta.
