There are few weddings that take your breath away as swiftly as this one did! I mean what was not to like? The decor was as breathtaking as it can get, the outfits were beyond stunning, and the photography by Reels & Frames Photography★ 5 captured everything so beautifully! Add to that the gorgeous wedding lehenga Radhika wore, and the heartwarming wedding video The Wedding Filmer★ 5 created, and it becomes a celebration that you wanna watch again and again and again!
Meet Radhika & Rohan
Radhika tells us how her love story with Rohan began, "We met through a family friend over lunch and hit it off right away- our first lunch lasted 4 hours, we eventually left the restaurant, not out of choice but compulsion- cause they had to shut down! We met again just under two weeks later in Dubai on a little getaway holiday of sorts where we had just each other to keep company and that’s when the proverbial “sparks flew” and that’s where everything figuratively and literally fit into place. A short holiday led to a lifetime of sleepovers and from being together there and sharing and creating our first memories and moments together, we are now sharing a house and have a family together. Saying it out loud still makes it feel and sound surreal, that’s cause it is. It is surreal how quickly you can fall for and be completely smitten by another human being, it is surreal that you’re not just the only one who feels that way and it is surreal that all the forces out there in the world find a way to bring you and keep you together. Very very surreal and borderline unreal! Today we live together in Singapore and there’s new pages, notes and post-its added to our love story every day, and I feel like we’ve only just about finished the introduction chapter!"

The Wedding
From The Bride:
Our wedding was just an extravagant celebration of what we both are- so it had to be colourful, full of life, energetic and just memorable. Both our families were and are so out there with their respective energies and their love for us- they put in almost as much energy and heart and soul into it as us- if not more! I’ve always dreamt of how my wedding should be and how each element of it would play out, and all that I’d hoped for and prayed for, and wished for was far exceeded with every element of it. My only regret from the celebration is that it lasted just 3 days, I wish it could go on all year- with the same people and the same happiness, love and blessings it contained. That’s that, and that’s all. I chose all my outfits with a lot of thought put into it.
On the Cocktail night I wore Michael Cinco. I always knew I wanted to wear an international designer for one of the functions at my wedding. I absolutely love Michael Cinco’s work and his team made an absolutely stunning gown for me! For my Mehendi I wore Kresha Bajaj. Kresha and I brainstormed a lot for my mehendi outfit as I wanted it to be fun and something I could easily move around in. She showed me lots of designs and I loved all of them but I wanted something very different than what people have worn or seen in her brand. Then she showed me what she wore for her own mehendi and I loved how pretty yet fun it was. And that was it, that was the inspiration for my lehenga which has now gone viral. She sketched it and it turned out perfect. For my Sangeet I wore a Manish Malhotra creation. When I met Manish, he was absolutely the sweetest. He immediately knew what he wanted for me when he saw me. Big skirt, pinched waist, short top. He quickly sketched it and then we worked around the colours and the embroidery, my likes and dislikes. A few weeks later when I saw the final outfit, I was blown. It was one of my favourite outfits from the wedding. For the Haldi I wore Gaurang Shah saree. Mira who’s very close to Gaurang personally attended us and made sure we picked the most exclusive sarees from his collections. For the Wedding, I was a Sabyasachi bride. Tara who works very closely for Sabyasachi invited me for an exclusive preview of his latest collections and helped me pick the perfect wedding outfit. I also had the privilege of meeting Mr. Sabyasachi who was so humble and dressed me up himself in his jewellery and gave me advice on how my wedding look should be.
