Small, intimate weddings are not easy to carry off, specially when you have relatives and friends and associates from everywhere! But this couple manged to pull it off, and very elegantly. This was a wedding where all the functions had a specific theme, the guests were people who knew and mattered the most to the couple, and with a bride who shined at all her functions. The bride and groom both looked stunning in their coordinated outfits by Anita Dongre , peach and sage green for both of them! And Ombre by Harsheen Jammu ensured that the couple's most beautiful moments were captured in a perfect manner!

From The Bride:
We always wanted our wedding to be an intimate affair with people who mattered to us being around us. Since we are both from the army background, we also wanted to showcase the defence culture and our roots to the guests as a part of the wedding! We had a small youngsters party for our common circle of 30 friends, a Mehendi of just 60 guests and a day wedding with 80 guests. The decor was customised and my parents played a huge part in designing a lot of elements at my functions. From the gorgeous phulkari umbrella that I entered with, to special corners at my chura ceremony, my mother designed a lot of things herself. The theme for our wedding was Pastel Dream and everything was in hues of peach, cream and sage green to go with outfits of the bride and groom. The entire affair was beautiful and we both loved each and every part of it. We had a grand reception with around 350-400 guests and with our personal touch to it. We didn't have a traditional stage, but instead chose to roam free around the guests. Every little detail in the wedding right from food, decor, music, outfits for our family member, wedding favours, pagdi etc was personally overseen by me and Aprameya to give it a special touch. It was all I had hoped for and more!
We got special haathphool for ladies and brooches for men from Prune India as Mehndi favours. Infused tea gift boxes from Sancha Tea Boutique were given as gifts towards the end. We had a lovely live goan Jazz band - Muzikafe, on our reception, to entertain our guests and also did a couple's retro dance to their music. Ombre was the best team of photographers you can get for your wedding. They were so positive and almost felt like a part of our family and friends as they clicked through the wedding. Extremely supportive team. Moets Catering (For Chooda brunch, wedding high tea and reception dinner) was given the huge responsibility for catering throughout the day right from 10 am chooda ceremony until reception at night. They were on time and well organised with everything and paid great attention to detail. Considering how there was a meal every 3 hours to plan they ensured everything went smoothly. Anita Dongre is by far my favourite designer. I got my dream lehenga in shades of sage green and peach from her and all the staff paid great attention to all my requirements. I loved it so much that I later got both outfits for the groom from her too. Sabyasachi is a dream designer for every bride. I absolutely loved the elegantly hand crafted saree perfect for a royal look. Masaba is a fun and spunky woman! Her outfits are perfect for the bride who wants to let her hair down during the celebrations. They're super breezy and easy to wear without compromising the gorgeous designs. Brilliant fusion designs with comfort. Special mention to Prune for designing Mehndi favours and my customised floar kaleera in peach to match my outfit. She actually met me at my house to get my customised design and went out of her way to make sure I get the perfect kaleeras.
