Priyanka & Rasesh's love story is as adorable as it comes and their love for each other was celebrated truly in their wedding celebrations. They had a beautiful Anand Karaj where Priyanka shined in a pastel pink lehenga. Their Thailand wedding was perfectly planned and managed by Keeran The Wedding Planner★ 5 while Doodle Studio★ 5 captured all the love and fun effortlessly! Scroll down and see for yourself.

Meet Priyanka & Rasesh

Priyanka tells us how it was meant to be for her and Rasesh, but still it took them more than two and a half decades to actually meet and know each other. "We've known each others' families for forever. Every time we used to visit India from Bangkok, we always got together at Rasesh's home for some good old gossip. But it was after 27 years of being born and visiting his family yearly, that I met Rasesh and we started to get to know each other.  A year of dating, 6 months of planning and lots of laughs and fights down the line, we tied the knot just about a month ago in my fav B town, Bangkok on July 12 2019.  "

The Mehendi

The Wedding

The Reception

From The Bride:

I just wanted very clean-line and minimalist décor. So, that is what we had in all our functions. The sundowner mehendi was very vintage with papagrass and pops of color and play of lights. We had beautiful fire poles that lite up upon our engagement- which btw was my proposal as Rasesh never really popped the question before the D-DAY.

The Anand Karaj was during the day - we picked an outdoor venue with a river-run back drop. It was absolutely stunning  - as over the mandap we had a tree branching out. The colour theme was pastel with pops of teal green, hints of yellow, rich lavender and dark pink. We had customised little books with our name-  that explained the significance of the 4 pheras so everyone could feel an equal part of the celebration. It was all very personal and so totally us!

After two functions being outdoor and colorful we went for dim and regal as our theme for the reception. We had a beautiful truss bang center of the ballroom which was the dance floor- minimal, lit up and ornamented with deep hues of floral art. This was the focal point and it definitely stole the show.

Vendor Reviews:

Anantara Riverside’s management was SO incredible and accommodating during our first site visit that they raised the bar so high. With some poor and some good site visits across various properties in Bangkok we had our minds set on Anantara instantly. Plus it emulated a luxurious resort like feel in the concrete jungle – with a riverfront view and low resort structure. It was a full on destination wedding, even though a large % of the guests were locals from Bangkok. With a fly in of 350 guests across the world it was a remarkable feeling to have everyone come celebrate us.

I worked with a bunch of local, fantastic Thai makeup artists such as Makeup by Nui, Makeup by Kwan, Hair by Art Adison Sethawong, Hair by Vishnu Wisanu

Doodle Studio- they were absolutely great and accommodating. Very swift on ground and followed our references of the perfect video brilliantly!

Lovenote by Nikita Kirloskar - Nikita helped put our vision onto paper. She was extremely cooperative, quick and quirky with her work and ideas. She was very responsive and worked through the evite only through whatsapp.
