From the perfectly coordinated Anand Karaj outfits to the gorgeously elaborate Engagement gown the bride wore, this wedding was absolutely stunning. Sukhmani wore some of the most amazing outfits, starting with a contemporary lehenga in shades of green and yellow for her mehendi to the red ruffled gown with a long trail for her engagement, her bridal look was very pinteresty! However, it was the wedding look of both Sukhmani & Kirath that blew us away. Wearing a manarkali, Kirath was #groomgoals while Sukhmani's golden and tangerine lehenga took our breath away. This Jaipur wedding was shot in an intricate manner by DotDusk Studios★ 4.9 and we bet you'll be bookmarking this one!

Meet Sukhmani & Kirath

An arranged meeting, and a love at first sight, Sukhmani & Kirath were meant to be together. The couple share how it was getting to know each other and fall in love while being miles apart, "People are always critical of long-distance relations, but when you meet the person you’re meant to spend your life with, no distance is too far” said Sukhmani. “It was an adventure from the moment we met, she, a tech consultant by profession and I, a International level skater, we were different yet we were alike” expressed Kirath. During those 15 days of long distance, they decided to chat with each other for the rest of their lives. Somewhere between shared interests and adorable encounters, and surprise date at Taj Falaknuma Palace, they found their fairytalet, and decided to spend the rest of their lives together!

The Mehendi

The Engagement

The Wedding

From The Couple:

If there is anything to Punjabi weddings, then it's the 'larger than life' rituals and ceremonies. Sukhmani and Kirath had envisioned their wedding to be royal and classy and there couldn't have been a more perfect destination than Jaipur that reflects royalty, heritage and beauty. As with the wedding venue, the couple chose Fairmont Hotels, Jaipur and Le Meredian as well. The wedding was everything they have dreamt of – classy yet full of vibrancy and positivity. The night before the big day - the Mehendi ceremony was celebrated with great pomp and once again, Sukhmani and Kirath made the night their own while keeping their culture intact, with family members and close friends. And what exactly is Indian wedding celebration if it isn’t for some ‘thumkas to the beat’ especially when the wedding in question is a Punjabi’s? So yes, the Mehendi ceremony was kept traditional Punjabi along with some music and dance. To add an extra fun element, the suggested dress code created for the occasion was ‘50 shades of pink’ – a perfect way to kick-start the celebration in the ‘pink’ city of Jaipur. Contrast to the Mehendi ceremony, the suggested dress code for the Ring and Sangeet ceremony was different hues of purple. The big wedding ceremony took place on a sunny morning of Jaipur, throwing of summer-ish vibe. Sukhmani and Kirath donned the intricately designed wedding costume by Rimple and Harpreet. The bride was bejewelled with the finest creations of Motiwala and Sons. The ceremony was absolutely elegant and beautiful with the union of two souls. Even as the day came to a close, Sukhmani and Kirath managed to keep their guests on toes with “A night under the stars with Harshdeep Kaur”. The couples entry was dream-like and admired by all as they glided on a path made on mirror water pool (the bride took special permissions for this). The crowd looked up as the two exchanged their malaas. The bride was wearing a 7 kg blouse made out of diamonds and sapphires by the House of Motiwala & Sons. This was beautifully paired with a skirt by Rimple and Harpreet. The wedding ceremony was dream-like but the evening that followed was a completely different thing with the guests grooving to the powerful voice of Harshdeep Kaur under the starlit sky of Jaipur.
