A Gorgeous Mumbai Wedding With A Bride In Stunning Outfits

There's something about a bride in red that just captures your interest, no matter how many times you spot it. That is the prime reason why our bride Radhika also chose to go for red when it came to picking her bridal lehenga. However, it was not just her wedding outfit that grabbed our attention. She chose a subtle ivory outfit with pretty embroidery for her mehendi and looked like a dream, while her sangeet outfit was in a flirty lavender shade with princessy vibes! We also loved the unique elements at their functions, like the DIY perfume station at the mehendi, and the 90s Bollywood themed Sangeet! They chose to go offbeat with other functions and kept the wedding absolutely traditional and Mpire Weddings★ 4.8 helped in bringing the couple's exact thoughts to life perfectly. In addition was the stunning photography by The Lightsmiths★ 5 , who made sure to capture the bride and the groom in the best manner possible.

The Wedding

From The Bride:

Our wedding was in Mumbai and we had a total of 4 functions.
1. Mehendi cum sufi night - This was held at Trident BKC. We had kept sufi hats for everyone to wear. Soulful raaga from Delhi had come to perform. As a mehendi favour we wanted something that engaged our guests, that's why we had a live perfume stall where you could choose and mix the fragrances you like and make a customised one for yourself.
2. Bengali haldi - We are both marwaris but just to keep a fun theme we decided to keep a Bengali theme haldi funtion. This was at Thackers chowpatty.
3. Sangeet - at St. Regis. Choreography was done by Happy Dancing Feet. Since we are both big Bollywood fans, we kept a 90s bollywood theme sangeet. We wanted a very classy and westernised decor for sangeet. The theme for decor was chandeliers, lights and colour scheme of white, black and green.
4. Wedding and Reception - At members enclosure, Turf Club, Mahalakshmi Racecourse. We wanted a beautiful traditional wedding and we had just that!

Vendor Reviews:

Vikram and his team were extremely dedicated and involved in the wedding. We had a lot of vendors and they made sure to liaise with everyone and have each one on the same page. They handled everything flawlessly. Being a widespread wedding across different parts of Mumbai, logistics, vendor and Hotel management were key elements and they didn’t disappoint us. Infact even the baraat turned out to be one crazy affair of its own. We are very glad we took Mpire on board.

Decor for mehndi and sufi night at trident and wedding plus reception at race course both were done by Jain decorators. To begin with, Manish and his father are very sweet to work with. They did a fabulous job with the decor at both venues. Special mention to Tejashree, their designer who understood our taste really well and designed accordingly.
