A Destination Wedding in Bhopal With a Splash of Pink
|
|
There aren't too many weddings we receive from Bhopal, but Tania and Vaibhav's traditional one is probably a good way to end the week with. We love the grooms ombre safa and unique mustard yellow bandhgala, and the peek of pink flowers in the brides hair. Lakshya Manwani Photography was beautiful and captured the sweet moments between the couple beautifully.
From The Bride:
"Both of us wanted a royal wedding with a blend of rituals, culture, enjoyment and a destination wedding feel with a backdrop of nature during the main wedding. We personally searched, screened, communicated and selected all elements of our wedding to the minutest details possible in the given time, space and resources. An ultimate plan was created after several rounds of brainstorming to involve choices and requirements of all
The plan had few core elements:
Meet Tania & Vaibhav
"We met in 2006 during the first year of college. In 2010, I moved to Sweden for my master’s studies and destiny took Vaibhav to Sweden and Germany for his master’s studies as well. We both landed up continuing our PhD studies from nearby places (Vaibhav in Denmark and me in Sweden)," explains Tania. The Mehendi
The Baraat
The Wedding
- We wanted all day time events for minimum tiredness
- All events were no longer than 3-4 hours including meals.
- Day one theme for rituals was traditional Brahmin and Punjabi. For day two baraat theme was traditional rajwada. Day three, for the wedding was Rajasi Royal.
