From the bride: I wanted our wedding to be an elegant affair. Black is my favourite color and thats what I decided to go with, though a lot of people discouraged me to do so. I researched for different stage designs, flower arrangements, bridesmaid/groomsmen outfits and finally had an idea of what I wanted. Luckily our decorator understood our concept and could replicate it at a very short notice. I was planning my wedding from overseas which is very hard and everything was done almost at the last minute. We even had a seating plan so everyone was meant to sit at a particular location. The venue was Ramada, Navi Mumbai.
For my wedding I always knew that I wanted to wear a lace gown. I love lace so I wanted a lot of lace, a lot of beading and a long trail. After a gazillion appointments and visiting different stores I finally found the perfect dress! Designer Mori Lee did my wedding gown. She has an amazing choice and I really loved her designs. Finding the perfect makeup and hair artist was equally difficult. One of my bridesmaids' aunt was a specialist and I met up with her once. I explained to her that I wanted minimal but effective makeup and she suggested I tie up my hair for the wedding since the day involves a lot of running around. She's from Binnies Beauty Parlour, Chembur and she definitely did a great job!
The wedding photography was done by Into Candid Photography. After a brief search I came across their website and one look at their work and I knew this was it! There pictures had a lot of attention to detail and it felt like you were there during the whole thing which is exactly what I wanted. They even spotted a few rustic trees on the way to the church and we took some pictures there which look fab! And if that's not attention to detail I don't know what is. All my wedding pictures are like a story of all that happened that day. I would reccomend Into Candid Photography to everyone.
For all the to be brides I would say that there will be a lot of mishaps and things won't go exactly as you planned but just think about all the awesome things that happened and keep them in your memory. You get one day in your life to be a bride and don't ruin it just because something din't go as planned. All that matters is that you'll be spending your life with the man you love and your day should be special mainly because of that. (Great advice we must say Michelle!!)

Meet Michelle & Raymond
Michelle drove an hour and a half at 3 am in the morning to get onto a Hot Air Balloon ride planned by Raymond :) 'Up in the air he went down on his knee and asked me to marry him. I just couldn't believe it! It was cute and awesome and unexpected and before I knew it, I said yes!', gushes Michelle. This was followed by a romantic champagne breakfast and rest as they say is history...in the making
