Can you imagine a wedding with no pheras? No pandit ji? No rituals? No, right? Even we can't! But Rubah and Siddharth went ahead and had a destination wedding without any religious rituals whatsoever. They had a gorgeous Sangeet where Rubah shined in red, and a classy Reception with so much drama in Rubah's outfit! They also had a delicious Sadhya lunch by the sea! The Wedding Salad★ 4.9 captured this non-wedding, wedding with such ease that we bet you'll be bookmarking every image for inspiration. They caught the couple's most adorable moments in the best manner possible, delivering memories of a lifetime.

Meet Rubah & Siddharth

When asked how Rubah & Siddharth met and their love story, this is what Rubah had to say, "Siddharth and I had been dating for roughly 5 years before we decided to get married. We met each other at a friends restaurant, when I took a chair that he had left unattended. I still  like to take things that are Sid's when he is not looking, especially his share of dessert."

The Reception

From The Bride:

Being a secular marriage, we did not have any religious rituals. Instead we envisioned it as a weekend getaway with a soundtrack.

Event I: Under An Indian Sky (Sangeeth) with Hari + Sukhmani and DJ Jasmeet as the main entertainment, along with bollywood dances from both families.

Event II: The Sadhya (Traditional Kerala lunch) set along the backwaters.

Event III: On The Western Waterfront (Reception) with Mad Orange Fireworks and DJ Jasmeet providing the entertainment. We exchanged rings, vows and listened to speeches from our closest friends and family.

Advice from the couple for the brides and grooms to be

Work with a team that reflects your aesthetics from the get-go. About two weeks before the wedding, let go and let things take their course. At that point, your best bet is just to sit back and enjoy the beautiful ride you worked so hard for. Also, trust your vendors and the skills they bring to the table.

Vendor Reviews:

Aside from it being the hotel where Sid proposed to me, we just found t Taj Bekal Resort & Spa in Kerala to have an aura of calm and beauty. The main lawns of the resort overlook the backwaters and the ocean. Additionally the resort only has 66 rooms which means we could book out the entire place while keeping our wedding small.

Our experience of working with Shaadi Squad, The A- Cube Project, and The Wedding Salad was amazing. They were all amazing in their own respective skill sets and put a lot of heart soul into their work. By taking ownership of their work, they made the wedding stress free. It was also great working with motivated and professional, women-run businesses.
