If there is one Bollywood bride who is probably going to make as much as an impact as Alia Bhatt did, it's going to be Athiya Shetty. Her bridal look was out of the box and gorgeous- and very different from any celeb bride we have seen so far. Her old rose- almost nude pink lehenga was STUNNING to say the least. A lot of brides have worn Anamika Khanna before, but none like her, and here are 5 things we absolutely adored about her bridal look.

Her glorious old rose lehenga

It's pink and pastel, but not quite. Athiya Shetty's Anamika Khanna lehenga looked like a piece of art, very different than what we have seen on any celebrity bride before. Her chikankari lehenga in soft pink took over 10000 man hours to make- that's 416 days! Very subtle, but the work on it was intricate and dainty- unique chikankari embroidery interspersed with intricate vintage gold zardosi and jaal work made this couture lehenga a museum collectible. The most unusual colour just the right shade of pink blended with a nude.

Her dainty full-sleeved blouse

Talking about dainty, how gorgeous is that blouse? With full embellished sleeves and a neckline to die for, it framed Athiya's athletic body beautifully- the perfect blouse for her body shape. It was modern, it was dainty, and while the neckline was a little risque, it did not appear so!

The single kaleera with charms

Athiya picked the daintiest, minimal kaleeras that blended with her look so gorgeously. The kaliras with charms hanging was something meaningful and complemented her look beautifully.

The barely-there makeup

Namrata Soni worked her magic on Athiya's bridal makeup- which was very minimal and elegant. In her words, "She wanted to look just like she is, almost like she wasn’t wearing make-up. It wasn’t a challenge with her because she has great skin and beautiful hair, all I had to do was enhance her features. I used a bit of concealer and rose gold eyeshadow to highlight the eyes. I used a bronze kajal pencil around the lash line and above and below the eyes to give them depth. I also used tons of mascara, the lips were done in a nude shade topped up with a lip oil."

The jewellery- polki, but not overwhelming

While we see a lot of brides, especially celebrity ones go a little over the top with their bridal jewellery, Athiya kept it simple yet stunning. She wore a  regal polki necklace juxtaposed with the single polki drop maang tikka by Birdhichand- just jaw droppingly pretty without going overboard. It had a lot of pearls strung to it, which kept the colour palette neutral without adding any contrast to her look.
