#RudyGotHisGurl, could it get cuter than this hashtag? This wedding in Bangalore was a celebration of love and laughter, and we love the vibe that it has! Gurleen and Rudra had a North-South wedding which was planned sitting all the way in New York, and it panned out beautifully. The bridal looks were subtle and elegant, and looks like the bride had a ton of fun! The elegant decor stood out, which was pretty and unique for each function!

From The Bride:
Our style in general is understated and minimalist. In addition, organizing the wedding from New York amidst the pandemic reinforced our belief that the best way to go about it was quiet, stylish, and intimate. Karuna and Malvika perfectly executed our vision, emphasizing the subtlety and details over grandeur and fan-fare. Right from the classy pool-side Mehendi, to the lush green outdoor wedding, and concluding with the cocktail reception, we made every effort to create an intimate event for our reduced numbers.
Vendor Reviews:
Venue: The Conrad, Bangalore and Taj West End, Bangalore.
The Conrad was the venue for the Mehendi (Tiamo) and cocktail reception (Ballroom). We were very impressed with the attention to detail and care taken by the hotel staff. Our guests were staying at the hotel and the staff was extremely organized right from check-in to check-out and we are happy to report excellent reviews from guests. They were also very adaptive to the changing requirements posed by COVID and made all our guests feel very comfortable with enhanced sanitation and effective social distancing. Rooms are new and well appointed and the food was excellent - some of the best I have had in the city. The Taj West End was the location for the wedding (Mynt Lawns). We were blessed with excellent weather that further accentuated the already beautiful hotel lawns. One caveat with this location is that they border a residential part of Bangalore so at times are unable to accommodate requests in terms of music however we found this limitation more than offset by the beautiful outdoor setting. An early morning wedding surrounded by the lush green lawns and sounds of nature was the perfect setting!
MUA: Gloss n Glass
The make-up artist was extremely talented and creative. This is likely a better fit for someone comfortable to let Dipan run with the hair and make-up process rather than someone with a set idea of what they want, although Dipan herself is able to accommodate both with aplomb. I was very particular that I wanted the "no-makeup make-up look" and Dipan managed to deliver 3 different looks that hit the brief. Her team is wonderful and very professional!
Wedding Planning & Decor: The Mogra Collective
Karuna and Malvika were the glue that held the wedding together. Their complementary skillsets are absolutely sublime where Malvika runs the show on logistics, organization, and negotiations, while Karuna blows you away with her creativity and design process. That said, this duo works best when you give them high level specifications and trust in them to deliver (which they did splendidly for us). By the end of it, they were more our friends than our wedding planners :)
Some of the best event decor we have seen in our life. Karuna can go as elegant or over the top as you want (or as she decides ;) ). That said K+M are extremely open to feedback and collaboration and are a pleasure to work with. Our guests were in awe of the decor and couldn't stop taking photos right until the events ended!
Photographer: Stories by Joseph Radhik
Photographers to the stars (and now, us!) The photos speak for themselves and we couldn't be happier with their work. Noel and Anupa took the time to understand our story and indeed identified the main family members to stay in front of during the events. They spoke to us before the wedding to understand our story and paid great heed to what it is that we wanted in the photography process - they captured some of the most beautiful moments of our wedding and were very punctual in delivery of photos (with the first cut sent to us a few days after the wedding!)
Mehendi Artist: Khushboo Dhavaal Shah
Khushboo was a pleasure to work with, especially considering she was dealing with a bride whose feet wanted nothing more than to be dancing the whole time. Her designs are intricate and classy and she was able to administer Mehndi to all the guests without any delay. She brought my "simple and elegant" vision to reality and was very patient with me through my hundred "hand breaks".
