If you thought 2 States is fiction, think again. This sweet Mallu-Punju wedding seems like staright out of the Bollywood hit . The bride, Sanjana made sure her style and her culture is reflected in each and every bit of the wedding - right from the neat Mallu wedding (where she wore a kanjeevaram) to the glam evening pheras with a dusty pink lehenga - . Lakshya Manwani Photography captured the true essence of this union, beautifully and Country Inn & Suites, Chattarpur made sure the venue was perfect for all the drama.
Meet Sanjeev & Sanjana
"We met during our MBA course. We were given a group task on the first day of college and we just became friends. Sanjeev didn't take very long to ask me out and it didn't take long for me either to say yes. We dated for a while, fought a bit but kept coming back to each other! Rest as they say is history" explains Sanjana.

The  South Indian Wedding

 From The Bride:
"Our families never imagined that they would ever get into a cross-cultural marriage, let alone a Punjabi - Malayali one. Some of Sanjeev's relatives had never even travelled out of Kerala, however they knew a little about each other's marriage customs through movies and TV. Our families were just too excited about experiencing all of this. So we decided to have two weddings, one with south Indian customs, the other with Punjabi customs and some of our own special tadka added to it," explains Sanjana.
"I was very clear right from the start to be a neo-traditional bride and was firm about not wearing a red lehenga. Well things got easier when I got to wear a red Kanjeevaram saree in the morning wedding and I could chose my favourite colour - Peach for the evening pheras. A girl who cant walk for 5 minutes in a pair of heels or heavy outfits, it took sometime for me to decide but I guess I was guided well by WedMeGood :)" adds Sanjana.
