So here's what to do in case you're caught in one of these situations!
You hate the wedding makeup or hair done by the professional!
*Solution: This is why we recommend getting a makeup trial done, so you know exactly what you'll get. And if you don't like it- speak up! Your MUA or hairstylist should adjust it to make you happy rather than convince you its right.
A vendor cancels on the wedding day
*Solution: Always read reviews about your vendors before booking them, which will ensure you get someone professional who won't do this unless it's unavoidable. If it does happen, recruit the help of your other vendors to see if they can call in favours to help you out.
The zipper or a hook gives way
*Solution: Carry an emergency sewing kit with you at all times!
Your heel breaks or your shoes bite
*Solution: Always break in your shoes before the wedding so they don't bite. And we also highly recommend carrying a trusty back up pair!
You wake up with a irritated skin, or worse, a pimple!
*Solution: Try rubbing an ice cube on your face to calm down the redness. Warm compresses or Cortisone injections can help subside a pimple.
You feel sick on the morning of the wedding!
*Solution: While a last minute thing would be unfortunate, all you can do is prevent something like this from happening in the first place. Take good care of yourself in the run up to the wedding, eat healthy and and if you do feel sick, just take a trip to the doc to get an opinion.
Puffy red eyes thanks to late nights
*Solution: This can always happen after the Sangeet or Cocktail party! Keep spoons or damp green tea bags in the freezer to put over your eyes- the cold will help to reduce puffiness. Or cucumber slices always work well! You can also keep some eye drops handy to get rid of the redness.

Earring back fell on the floor, and now you can't find it!
*Solution: Carry a piece of eraser with you which can work well as an earring back, this hack is also a nice one for earrings that are too heavy for your piercing- they give more support.
Someone left a lipstick mark on your cheek!
*Solution: Could happen when your mom or sister kisses you! Do not try and rub it vigorously, Dab it gently with a tissue to get some of the colour out and then ask your MUA to add some foundation to cover up the redness.
You sprayed perfume which left a mark on your outfit
*Solution: If it's a fresh stain, dabbing (not rubbing) it with a damp cloth can help get rid of it. If it's been a while, then use some rubbing alcohol or diluted vinegar instead with a paper towel or clean cloth to get rid of it. Do not rub in either case.
Stocking had a run
*Solution: If the stockings you've been wearing under your wedding or cocktail gown, have had a run, then clear nailpolish can come to your rescue. Just put some over the run and let it dry!
Your skin is stained yellow because of the Haldi
*Solution: Use raw milk to get the stains off. It contains lactic acid that acts as a cleanser, as well as exfoliating the skin and removing the dead cells. This article has some more tips that can help!
You got a bit tanned during your outdoor mehendi
*Solution: Cut a tomato in half and rub it all over your face. Let it dry for about 10 mins and wash off for instant tan removal!
