Personal Review for Blingz by Gunjan I would like to share my experience with Gunjan, the makeup artist behind “Blingz by Gunjan,” who was hired for my wedding events on November 17th and 18th, 2024. Unfortunately, my overall experience was highly disappointing and unprofessional, causing unnecessary stress during what should have been a joyful time. Here’s a detailed account of my experience: Context Gunjan was hired for my makeup and hair for all my wedding events, including the Haldi, Mehendi, Cocktail (November 17th) and the Wedding Day (November 18th). However, due to feedback I received from my photographer (who was also my wedding planner), I became concerned about her real-time makeup execution and professionalism. After much consideration, I decided to cancel her services for my wedding day and informed her a month in advance. Despite this cancellation, I still paid her the amount which was (₹27,500) for first day event and for sceond fay i paid 13,750 ( for which i didn’t avail any service) and it was agreed by both that i bear the cost of it as i was uncomfortable due to the feedback .so i requested her to handle my makeup for November 17th events (Haldi, Mehendi, and Cocktail), which she agreed to. My Experience Haldi Makeup Gunjan showed up and completed my makeup but repeatedly brought up the fact that I had replaced her for my wedding day. She mentioned how her husband advised her not to even do my Haldi makeup. This unnecessary commentary created discomfort and made me feel anxious on an already busy day. Mehendi Makeup For my Mehendi event, Gunjan completely failed to deliver on her commitment. Instead of doing my makeup herself (for which she had been paid), she chose to prioritize the makeup of another bride’s sister-in-law at the same venue. She sent her assistant to do my makeup, and I had no choice but to agree as I was running late for my event. Cocktail Makeup Gunjan promised to be on time for my Cocktail makeup after finishing the other bride’s makeup. However, she arrived late and, upon arrival, displayed further unprofessional behavior by making unnecessary comments. She claimed I would not have found anyone else if she had refused my booking and continued to undermine my decision to replace her for my wedding day. Despite the delays, she eventually did my makeup and styling, but her demeanor left a lot to be desired. Key Issues 1. Unprofessionalism: Gunjan made constant unnecessary comments about being replaced and tried to create stress on an important day for me. 2. Lack of Commitment: She neglected her agreed-upon duties by prioritizing another client during my Mehendi, leaving her assistant to do my makeup. 3. Punctuality: Gunjan was late for multiple events, including the Cocktail party, despite repeated assurances that she would be on time. 4. Lack of Courtesy: Her attitude during the events showed little regard for my comfort or feelings. Instead, she focused on her personal grievances with my photographer and my decision to change my wedding day MUA. Conclusion While Gunjan may have her talents, my experience with her was far from satisfactory. Her unprofessional behavior, lack of punctuality, and dismissive attitude during one of the most important events of my life left me extremely disappointed. I am glad I decided to go with another makeup artist for my wedding day, who was much more professional and considerate. I do not recommend Gunjan (Blingz by Gunjan) for anyone who values professionalism, punctuality, and a stress-free experience. Regards, Sarita

I recently hired Gunjan for my engagement and party makeup, and unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory. Despite the high cost of 15k for the engagement HD makeup, the quality and longevity were disappointing. The makeup began to fade significantly after just 3 hours, leaving my skin looking dull and patchy. The groom's makeup was equally underwhelming. Gunjan seemed ignoring to our specific requests and displayed a lack of professionalism, engaging in irrelevant conversations during the makeup process. The party makeup was also a letdown, appearing overly cakey and lacking the finesse I had hoped for. At 2.5k per person, it was certainly not worth the price. In conclusion, I would not recommend Gunjan for her makeup services. The quality of the makeup, coupled with her unprofessional behavior, made the experience highly unsatisfactory and not worth the significant investment.

Gunjan mam took the time to understand my vision and tailored the look perfectly to suit my style and occasion. Their expertise in color matching and technique is impressive; the makeup was flawless and lasted all day without needing any touch-ups. The atmosphere during the appointment was relaxed and fun, making the whole experience enjoyable. Gunjan mam was professional yet personable, which made me feel comfortable and confident.
