Anisha & Harshit’s mehendi was nothing short of a heartwarming throwback. Taking inspiration from the warmth and joy of childhood summers spent at their Nani Ghar, the couple designed a celebration that was as much about reliving memories as it was about creating new ones. From colorful décor that reminded everyone of lazy afternoons and carefree playtimes, to corners brimming with nostalgia, every detail carried a personal touch. Guests walked in not just to attend a mehendi but to step back into a slice of their childhoods.
The highlight? A ‘childhood favs’ section where everyone got their hands on iconic toffees, treats, and little knick-knacks that once defined growing up years. A cosy message wall invited friends and family to pen heartfelt notes for the couple—tiny tokens of love to be cherished forever. Anisha & Harshit’s mehendi wasn’t just a pre-wedding function; it was a wholesome fest of love, laughter, and memories stitched together with nostalgia.
Childhood Favs
This corner was every 90s kid’s dream come true! Bowls of éclairs, toffees, and childhood munchies were laid out for guests to indulge in. From unwrapping candy to sharing laughs over forgotten favorites, this space was buzzing with smiles and sweet memories.
'Leave a Message' Corner
A heartwarming corner invited guests to pour out their wishes for the couple—both in writing and voice! While the message board filled up with colorful notes and doodles, the cordless phone station became a crowd-favorite, where friends and family recorded little audio snippets of love that Anisha & Harshit can listen to for years to come.
Nostalgic Décor
The décor tied the whole theme together with thoughtful little touches. Rows of achaar ki barnis used as vases added a homely, vintage charm, while dainty chai cups doubled up as candle holders, spreading warmth across the space. Each detail whispered of ‘Nani Ghar’, making the mehendi as heartfelt as it was festive.
