Friend Of The Bride Style: Rakul Preet's BFF Anshuka Nails Bridesmaid Chic!

Newly married Rakul Preet and Jackky Bhagnani had a glorious beach wedding where the who’s who of Bollywood was there. Amongst them was Anshuka Parwani, celebrity wellness expert & founder- Anshuka Yoga, who is also one of Rakul’s BFFs and her bridesmaid style was super chic! We loved all of her looks and thought, who better than an actual bridesmaid to give us the details on what goes behind creating these showstopping bridesmaid looks.

Look 1 - Haldi Sundowner
The theme for this event was resort wear and happy shorts, which is why I picked this easy breezy lime green dress from The Little Black Bow . The silhouette was influenced by the destination as it was a beach wedding and I wanted a laidback fun vibe. The colour and jewellery were fun too, keeping that in mind. I went with a bohemian jewellery look from Anaqa Jewels. The makeup and hair game for this look was all about beachy waves and a minimal look!
Look 2- Mehendi
For this day mehendi, I picked this stunning pale-yellow meets beige bustier and skirt set from Netri Agarwal. The vision was to look like I came out of the water, given it was a beach wedding. The outfit was stunning with thread and beadwork all over. I went a band-style diamond choker from Anaqa to accentuate my neck. For the makeup and hair, I kept it minimal with open hair and super-defined eyebrows. Completed the look with sheer pumps!
Look 3- Sangeet
This was a shimmering sangeet and the theme was Indian glam so I went all out with this stunning black lehenga from Ritika Mirchandani We all bridesmaids wanted to ensure that we shine from the stage for the sangeet so I went for an all-black glam lehenga with smokey eyes. I paired this with my mom’s emeralds and diamonds as I love wearing my mom’s jewellery.
Look 4 - Pheras
The dress code for bridesmaids was shades of pink so I went with this pants and choli set by Ritika Mirchandani This long jacket set in blush pink was perfect for the beach wedding. I kept the makeup dewy in the shades of brown and pink. Styled it with some diamonds from Anaqa Jewels.
Look 5 - After Party
The memo for this one was fun dresses with sneakers! Since this was the last event, I wanted the last look to be statement and fun. I went with this Shantanu Nikhil fusion gown in black. I kept the makeup bold with big hair as I wanted it to be super glam and chic!
