After Her Son's Death, This MIL Got Her Daughter-In-Law Remarried & Gave Her A Second Chance At Love

BY Anupriya | 28 Jan, 2022 | 4636 views | 2 min read

Every once in a while, in between our usual hunt for something new & something wedding, we come across a wedding story that instantly tugs at our hearts and leaves us inspired to bits. And to say, this one merely left us impressed, would be an understatement. Read along to know why...

A Rajasthan woman, Kamala Devi, who happens to be a residient of Fatehpur Shekhawati in Rajasthan, remarries her daughter-in-law (Sunita) after her son's demise and it's just the story we needed for y'all to lighten up & seek your mandatory dose of inspiration on a Friday evening.

As per reports, Kamala Devi's son Shubham died due to a brain stroke, a few months after being married in 2016. He had gone to pursue an MBBS degree in Kyrgyzstan of Central Asia and died there. After 5 years of his death, she decided to get Sunita married to a guy named Mukesh.Meanwhile, She also encouraged her daughter-in-law to pursue her masters & complete her B. ed. On account of which, she also qualified as a History teacher in a school.

Isn't it amazing? Well, we all definitely need more MILs like Kamala Devi to prove the power of the pack and reverse the stereotype of women not standing up for other women.

While the netizens can't stop lauding her for breaking the stereotypes, we wish to see more women set such an example in future. What are your thoughts on the same? Share with us in the comments.
