BY The WMG Bride | 26 Jun, 2014 | 5249 views | 3 min read

Add a dash of young love , mix in  some absolutely gorge baubles (the jhoomer and those earrings),  sprinkle on top stunning decor with some  beaming smiles all around and you have got the perfect recipe of a Delhi potboiler ! With a great list of vendors like Elements Decor, Makeup by Saba & Mahima Bhatia, there is a certain charm in this wedding that is hard to put a finger on!

Meet Gurveen & Ankit

He says it was love at first sight, She says it was a year and a half of togetherness before they tied the knot. Gurveen recounts "Like any love marriage, we had to struggle quite a bit to eventually end up together. It was a particular moment on our anand karaj, when we looked at each other and realised- we will share our love for life "

Hi Gurveen, tell us about this entire shebang !
If I had to recount our wedding festivities, our Sangeet was like a fest, we got to spend the most time together and all we did with friends and family was eat, drink and dance. It didn't even feel like a wedding ! But my most memorable moment was during the anand Karaj, when the pious ceremony was taking place and we both looked at each other and smiled, with both of us thinking the exact same things. That we get to share this love we feel right now for the rest of our lives

I wanted a delicate look for the Mehendi and as it was a day function, I thought a soft peach would look pretty (Vendor details of outfits given at the end) . For the Sangeet I stuck to fun colors, with open hair and minimal jewelry and went the complete opposite way on the wedding night. Heavy jewelry and a mughal lehenga - I was channeling the North Indian Muslim Bride look honestly and felt like the whole look really came together to gave a regal feel.

Overall Saba Shafi (my makeup artist ), Elements & Mahima BHatia all three did an absolutely fab job. Infact Saba did makeup for most of my family members and they were extremely thankful to have found her. Everyone complimented us on the decor and Mahima clicked awesome pics (these are unedited ones_. Im sure the edited ones will be fab
